Camp Saguaro was a great base for exploring the area. The campground is well-maintained, clean, and very cutely decorated. The hosts are very helpful, but also unobtrusive. I loved the meteor shower I saw at 5:30 am. The owls, coyotes, and roosters were a great night sound track. My group was out of camp exploring most days so I didn’t get to spend much daytime in the camp. I would have liked recycling receptacle next to the trash can. That is my main suggestion for improvement. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I loved the whole vibe of camp, which is fun and functional! I stayed in the Adobe, which was very comfortable with an air mattress I rented from camp owners for $15. There were hanging overhead lights near the bed which I found helpful though not a substitute for lantern and headlamp. The bathroom was clean, the shower had a healthy stream of warm water. There were welcoming touches throughout the campground including lights on trees, little colorful fake nomes and mushrooms decorating the cacti area near my structure. There were adirondack chairs throughout, easy dish washing sink, a convenience store with ice and wood, gift items. All in all a comfortable experience I’d do again. Plus location is great near Saguero National Park and Gates Pass (wonderful sunset views). My friends stayed in nearby camp sites on premises and we enjoyed campfire meals and singing. Before 8 pm. It was very quiet and clean. Thank you!

This place is so interesting. Some new detail at every turn. I loved it here. Very clean, shower was wonderful. My dog likes to run and this was a bit confining for her. I could have stayed a week. Very relaxing and quiet for sleeping. Highly recommend.

The moment we arrived we knew we would extend. The Camp is very laid back with marvelous hosts. Everything appears to be well thought through. Wonderful showers with nice hot water and enough hooks for the stuff. The Magical Mushroom itself was very special. We did not need our tent and slept inside. It kept us cosy and warm during the chilly nights. Overall we loved our stay. A real gem hidden among the saguaros.

Barb’s space is lovely, complete with a koi pond and shaded picnic spot. She has created quite the little haven of relaxation. Outdoor bathroom/shower was perfect, exactly what we needed for our one night. I will say, there was quite a bit of road noise, which was unavoidable but not awesome.

The camp hosts were terrific for both recommendations and chatting. I loved the lighting and decor. The toilets, shower and dishwashing sink were clean and easy to use. The proximity to the nat'l park and the desert museum were bonuses.

I loved tent camping at the Saguaro camp, especially the Lovey Dovey where we stayed! The Saguaro camp is so cute and the camp site is exactly what we needed. We had enough privacy, all the amenities were great and very cute dog park since we were traveling with our pup.

Sleeping in the desert under a starry sky, listening to coyotes calling to one another (and yes, a few dogs) - a thin layer of fabric the only thing between us and the wild. There was only 1 other tent—most people park RVs - but we didn’t hear generators - and everyone was friendly and respectful. Campsites are widely spaced, level gravel, very clean. The campground is artsy, funky, and fun, with lights highlighting the cacti at night. Beautiful sunsets! And hot running water, laundry, showers, flush toilets - such luxury! We loved this place! Such a gem just outside the city! Treasures to be found in the gift shop, reasonably priced. We ended up staying a 2nd night in the “Magic Mushroom,” which at the end of November was a bit warmer. Highly recommend— many thanks to the owners / hosts for taking a piece of property and turning it into something we can all enjoy.

What a cozy sanctuary! So many sweet and intentional touches to this serene and peaceful space! Our host Barbara was very welcoming and kind and showed us all the many unique things she's cultivated here. Two labyrinths, a zen garden, a medicine wheel area for prayer and contemplation, a beautiful little pond with fish, a vertical fire pit to enjoy at night under the stars and adorable ponies and horses to pet and visit with. My son had a truly wonderful experience ! The trailer/camper has all the creature comforts if you need them including a gas stove refrigerator, a full bathroom even! I was very impressed! We saw quail and coyotes each day and even some javalinas! Right out the door is landscape to behold with Saguaro West national Park minutes away and trails on her property to explore too. It was truly a blissful experience. 💗

Camping here was amazing. There are two platforms but no one was booked when we were so we had it all to ourselves- very private. Everything was beautiful- we stared at the stars for hours. Great price too!

1 night at Camp Saguaro
We stayed at a place called Lodge, and honestly, it was even better in real life than in the photos. Everything was new, and inside it smelled like wood and nature. It felt very safe and clean, with a beautiful area around and everything you need for cooking and relaxing.
The atmosphere was amazing, and the host was so kind and welcoming. At night, you could hear coyotes, which made it feel truly wild and natural. The nights were a bit cool and humid, like in any desert, but everything was well prepared.
The toilets and showers were very comfortable, with hot water, soap, and a place to wash dishes. Overall, the vibe was just perfect — this is the best camping experience I’ve ever had. Thank you so much for everything!

This place was absolutely beautiful! Clean restrooms and nice and warm/hot shower. Taylor was friendly and easy to communicate with, Getting here was a breeze. I will say if you want a completely quiet stay or if you’re a light sleeper this place might not be for you since you can hear cars as they’re driving by. But 10/10 recommend!!!

Great site. We got there and set up camp and hosts came by and introduced themselves. Really friendly. Sites are great and surrounded by local vegetation and the little hummingbirds visited us as we were setting up and tearing down the next morning. Camp amenities were great. Shower was great and had excellent hot water and water pressure. Will definitely return if I am ever in the area again. Beautiful campsite. Thanks for letting us stay Michelle. Very close to the entrance to Saguaro National Park.

We spent a night tent camping at Camp Saguaro and it was great! The restrooms/showers/ dishwashing station was super nice alongside the common area. It’s also such a close drive to Saguaro National Park if you’re visiting. We’d easily stay again.

I loved this camp. Beautiful away from the city and desert all around. Great place to see all the stars. The camp is well kept with a mercantile that they will open for you spring you visit. Sometimes it's open, but if not, the camp host will open it for you. The bathrooms were clean with flush toilets with a sink between them to wash up. Around the corner is a dish sink and then the other side is where you will find 2 showers. There is a large common area where guests can gather around a fire with plenty of seating and tables for everyone to enjoy. There is even a phone charging station. Next to that is an area with games such as tether ball, cornhole and more.
My site was awesome, I stayed in the silly lizard site, with a table and two chairs and a fire pit. Sites are spaced out and situated to where you feel like you have a lot of privacy. If love to stay again. The camp host was super friendly and helpful I'd you had any questions or needed anything. 5 stars!!

It was scenic and had good clean bathrooms and showers. It was a good place to see local birds. It is not far from the Desert Museum and the trails of Tucson Mountain park. The price was very reasonable. It is a little ways from town, but we liked that.

What a lovely and well curated oasis just outside Saguaro National Park for a couple nights stay. The hot showers were wonderful, everything in the common bathroom area was clean and I loved being able to look around the little mercantile. Michelle and Kim have put a lot of work into this place and it shows. The other campground hosts were lovely as well. Absolutely would stay here again when in the area!
