Hidden away within the mountains, there’s so much to see and do.
Hike through the mountains and even down to Colorado River. Rent kayaks at the property to drive them down, a 7 min drive off the property. Book an off road tour around the mountains and down to the river. Check out the world famous ghost town a few minutes away and even goon an underground mine tour.
It’s pure bliss and joy. A reset, a rest.
Available as a single person camping, all the way up to weekend retreats for the entire family.
This property is secluded and in a remote area with limited cell service. AT&T and Verizon have limited service, other carriers do not. This property is accessible by off road vehicle only, otherwise you may park your car in parking which is 4-7 minutes away from your tent by our shuttle. Off road vehicle means a 4x4 to drive over a rocky trail.
To access your tent, you will be required to schedule the shuttle for check in. A host will drive out to meet you to take you to your tent. Must be scheduled in advance. Check in is between 3pm and 9pm only. The host does not live on property and travels for your scheduled check in time.

Mohave Sunset House (Blackbrush Wilds on Instagram) is a handcrafted 107 sq ft pine cabin on 1.25 private acres, tucked against Iron Mountain at 3,800 feet. You're just 19 miles from Grand Canyon West's iconic Skywalk. The drive in takes you straight through a protected Joshua tree forest. The cabin sits at its edge, where the trees thin out and the views open wide. From the cabin you can see the Grand Wash Cliffs, Meadview, and on a clear day even Lake Mead.
Best for one guest or two close companions. The bed is a single, so a second guest should bring a sleeping pad.
STARGAZING
At 3.6 on the Bortle scale, the skies are dark enough for excellent stargazing. On a clear night you can see the Milky Way, the Andromeda Galaxy, and the Orion Nebula. Mornings and evenings are cool, the air smells of sage, and the desert breeze is wonderful.
THE CABIN
- A brand-new single mattress on a built-in daybed, with fresh linens and a lightweight cotton throw
- Two large windows and a door window that open for cross-ventilation
- A fold-down table and sturdy handmade benches, one covered in sheepskin and the other in old lace
- Solar lights around the cabin at night (I can take them down on request for darker skies)
KITCHEN
- Propane stovetop with a fresh canister
- Butcher block counter with a sink and grey water system for dishes and brushing teeth
- Glass potable water dispenser
- Vintage steel beverage cooler, big enough for a quart of milk and a couple of steaks (bring ice)
- Plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, and cutlery for two
- Pot, pan, ladle, knife, can opener, and drip coffee maker
- 36" fire ring with firewood, a small saw, and a new 44" grill grate for steaks and veggies
BATHROOM & SHOWER
The "bathroom" is a private olive-green tent with a toilet, toilet paper, and a solar light. As in many national parks, you bag your waste (bags provided) and pack it out. There's also a pressurized solar camp shower, which takes 4 gallons of water for a warm shower.
WATER: PLEASE READ
There's no well or water storage on site. At least one gallon will be waiting for you. Plan on about 2 gallons per person per day, plus 4 gallons to fill the solar shower.
Skip the water run: I can have 5 extra gallons waiting for you for $15. Just request it when you book.
Prefer to bring your own? The Chevron and Dollar Store in Meadview have water at reasonable prices.
SLOW DOWN
This place is intentionally simple. Borrow the knitting needles and vintage yarn, or browse books on Buddhism, Tibetan mysticism, the Grand Canyon, and Longfellow's Hiawatha. It's perfect for a digital detox or a quiet weekend. If you knit yourself something, I'll replace the yarn.

RESPECTING THE LAND
- Please stay within the property. The corners are marked with rock piles, and the eastern edge is about 20 feet past the big juniper.
- The road up the mountain leads to public BLM land. Check a map first; purple flags or signs mark private property.
- Rockhounds welcome! On BLM land, you can collect up to 25 pounds of rocks per day for personal use (up to 250 pounds per year). Hand tools only, no machinery, and please don't sell what you find. Respect any posted signs or mining claims.
- Please don't step on, collect, or cut plants for firewood. Agave and cholla take many years to regrow.
- Please leave the quartz on the property in place, though you're welcome to take one souvenir piece from the driveway.

Weekend Trip to Arcadian American Farms
We stayed for two nights and loved it. We did the loop walk around the farm and a nearby hike, and spent evenings enjoying the fire, the milky way, and beautiful sunsets. One of the dogs was a great companion, guarding at night and accompanying on the hike. The hosts were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We left with some farm eggs, basil, cherry tomatoes, and goat cheese - can't wait to try them.

Our favorite part of the whole trip was the ranch dog LUNA she is the VIP staff. Honestly want to return just to see her again. Evelina’s property was wonderful! We were looking for something unique and we found it! The desert scenery was beautiful and we really enjoyed seeing some of the wildlife while we were hiking. The bed was comfortable and the little finishing touches in the tent made it feel very quaint. We really enjoyed how truly secluded you are out on her property. We were close enough to explore Boulder City and get a little break from the record temps. Highly recommend the UTV tour she offers. It’s a fantastic way to see the Colorado river. Would love to return someday with friends!

We had a wonderful stay at Serenity Trail Adobe near Meadview. It was the perfect place to explore the desert and enjoy the quiet beauty of the area. The space was comfy, cozy, and felt like a peaceful retreat after a day of adventure.

Great views from the pods, and I really enjoyed getting to know the folks on the land and was inspired and impressed by the entire operation. This place is so great! The location is a little adventure and the area is quiet and so chill. My friend and I enjoyed our stay and slept with our tent open. Coming from the Joshua Tree desert, we get a lot of critters... not here. Besides a super friendly chipmunk, don't think it was Chippy but he was a fun little buddy to watch as he explored our space.

What can I say to express how wonderful Vegas Glamping is??? Our stay was the absolute best of the best!!! We came to Nevada from North Carolina and wanted to stay at our new home away from home instead of going onto Las Vegas!
The night sky was extraordinary with the most was beautiful view! Our tent was cozy, clean, and the bed so comfy…perfect! We loved grilling every meal on the fire pit…eggs, bacon, asparagus, steak, grilled cheese, and s’mores. We went “ATVing”, with Evalina’s husband as our guide, which was a blast. The scenery was amazing. It almost felt like we were in a picture book. Evalina made sure everything was perfect. She is a beautiful woman, inside and out!

This place is very relaxed. We had no issues the little cabin was clean and well equipped with what you need for a short stay! They provide paper plates and plastic forks knives spoons...so if looking to have a proper BBQ you need to bring knives etc. They do provide grilling utensils though. The place is very quiet(mid/late March for us) and dark for some great star gazing :)

Trip started off with the incorrect price. I booked, paid, planned, then get told that what I wanted was $85 more... Then discovered the tent was only 1/2 fastened to the frame, the promise of a kitchenette and coffee was smoke... and the drinkable water container was only 10% filled. Would have also been nice to have a map of hikes and things to see. We had to ask and only got the vaguest of pointed out directions. It's an adventure... but there have to be better options.

Weekend Trip to Vegas Glamping
My boyfriend and I stayed a night here with Evelina and David! They were amazing host and we had the best of times. I am not a camping person at all but i would 100% recommend a glamping stay here. The views were beautiful from the star filled sky, to the pink colored sunrise, and the wildlife. When we arrived everything was set up for us. The tent was lovely with just enough space for the two of us. We also had a battery pack and two fans to charge our phones and keep cool at night.
