Phoenix is a close commute, where you will find many more amenities. Rent an off-road vehicle, boat for the lake (or bring yours!), or plan a tour and ENJOY YOUR STAY! We are more than happy to help facilitate your time here. We welcome pets, but do note there are occasional encounters with neighborhood dogs and plenty of wildlife. There is a large stone firepit for guest campfires, firewood may be provided but not guaranteed. A large trash can is available on site for guests, please use it. There is no water available at or near the site, you will need to bring all the water and supplies you require during your stay. The nearest services are along Lake Pleasant Pkwy. off Highway 74 and four miles further south at Happy Valley Rd. Another large shopping area is at Highway 74 and I-17. Great place, great people! Cory is truly one of the most hospitable and friendly people you could ever meet. He set up the fire for us before we arrived, lent us his fishing rod, and even showed us the beautiful route to the private lake. He also shared his amazing biking skills with my son, which made the experience even more memorable. The night we spent there was peaceful and quiet, and the place had everything we needed—water, a bathroom, and all the conveniences you could hope for.

Nice enough place. Nothing fancy here. Just a big backyard with some shade and grass. The flowers and shade do make it comfortable. A few vehicles stored here and there. It meets the need for a decent place to stay for a couple of nights and the people are very friendly and accommodating. I can't give it a rave review but I don't really have anything bad to say either. It gets the job done and I would stay again if needed.

Directions clear, found the site after dark without issue. Cory is responsive and provides a welcoming site. Site has two well placed trees to provide natural shade for the tent. Site is fenced in, with a swing close gate - provides peace of mind for those with kids. Plenty of space, we fit a 10 person and a canopy with space for likely 1-2 more tents. We biked to the lake, very tucked location, not public access, so had it to ourselves. Great view of the distant mountains. Fish may be smarter than us as we only managed a small tilapia, but the lake is lively with plenty of fish jumping out along the shore line. Portable bathroom was pristinely clean, one of the best we’ve seen. Site is well kept, we look forward to returning and seeing what else Cory can do with the place! Most importantly - Cory is a phenomenal host - welcoming, helpful, and laid back. Especially welcoming and willing to help with anything we needed - he went above and beyond to make our weekend trip great. Absolutely recommend this site!

We were looking for a last minute spot in the greater Phoenix area and we were hoping not to have to stay in a trailer park that seems so common. Shawn & Roxy’s spot was perfect. Located in a rural area in north Phoenix surrounded by saguaros, the spot was clean and quiet, except for the occasional coyote howl. The hosts were welcoming and responsive with all communications. The utilities worked great. Our only suggestion would be to have more signage to help campers see where to turn in to the property. We highly recommend this site!
