Also there are green lanes and fields and if your lucky you can catch site or deer, turkeys, all sorts of birds maybe even a cute baby armadillo. In just over 45 minutes you can be playing on the beach in Panama City Beach, (world’s most beautiful beaches). Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Mariana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The host Kelsey was so welcoming, very kind, and made it a comfortable stay. She was hempful in guiding us to the nearby springs and she did not bother us she gave us complete privacy. 4 nights at Gateway Trails

Set up was a breeze on arrival. Jay met me and showed me my boondocking site - flat and plenty of room to pull in and circle around for my 26' TT. Keyed and gated entry was nice. Each day I heard the neighbor's rooster and a braying donkey - far enough away to be unobtrusive and near enough to be enjoyed. Other campers down the road were either tent campers or RVs enjoying full hookups. Met some nice folks! Only had 2 other boondocking neighbors during my 7 night stay. Jay and Suzette were lovely and welcoming. Enjoyed evening conversation while the guys played horseshoes. The laundry/shower/toilet rooms were clean and well kept. Laundry rate was very reasonable. I enjoyed my time there so much I extended my stay a few more days. You might want to bring your own fresh water as the water hose by the tank dump is not technically potable due to its location.

We had a great time. The property is beautiful. They had full hook ups for our small RV. The hosts Larry and Sheila were amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. There isn’t a place to put kayaks in, but I was able to take my paddle board up river and ride it back to the campsite. We can’t wait to go back.

Weekend Trip to Glamping In Paradise

We had the most amazing weekend! The entire set up was breathtaking and very romantic! The gardens and plants were beautiful and my absolute favorite part along with the outdoor shower because long hot showers were wanted at the end of our day. We spent the full day Saturday with rented e-bikes tours Florida Caverns State Park and sightseeing the caverns. Very impressed the hosts thought of everything we could have possibly needed and left nothing to run and get, we will definitely book again!

We needed a boondock site for one night. We booked with Jay and Suzette and we were very surprised Bathroom, shower, laundry, little treats, and lovely trails around the property to take a walk or jog. The tent and RV-hook-up sites are scattered about giving alot of space and privacy . They were lovely hosts as well.

Weekend Trip to Glamping In Paradise

We loved our stay in the yurt! It was so cozy and had everything we needed from first aid kit, to snacks, and fire wood. Our dogs probably has the best time of all of us exploring the property and finding the creek. We rented a canoe and floated the river 30 minutes away (Cypress Springs) which I strongly recommend! Dollar general and the local market was just a 2 minute drive for any necessities but the campsite is tucked off away from the road.
