300 acres of family land since 2000. This area was called Boot's Bottoms growing up and the name stuck. There is a rock wall close to the campsite that was a old grist mill site. Plenty of wildlife, bird watching, wildflowers and creek walking. Some old ATV trails for hiking as well. Very remote and quite!

Convenient stop for the night or a few days for RV’s or Tent campers and a good place to get a hot shower - only a easy mile a half from I-20 exit 173 ( Eastaboga - Talladega Superspeedway Exit ) also a good base camp to see Cheaha State Park - bike at Coldwater Mountain- see the Talladega Superspeedway , Combat Park Flea Market , Oxford ballgames or other area Activities - I reserve one RV site and two tent sites for hipcamp and rent the other five RV sites at the top of hill on a monthly basis - these hipcamp sites are wooded, shady with woods between the other sites to give some privacy while still not far from the unique showers made from the old chicken house feed bins -these showers are very functional and I have been complimented that they are the best showers on the east coast

For your comfort, every dome is equipped with Dreo fans, solar exhaust fans, and solar insulation to keep your stay breezy and sustainable.
Outside, evenings are best spent gathered around your private fire pit, swapping stories or roasting marshmallows under the stars. During the day, relax in gravity chairs, explore the private hiking trail we built by hand, or cool off in the creek just steps away from your dome. When it’s time to slow down indoors, enjoy classic card games that spark a little laughter and friendly competition.
Each dome also features a private outdoor nature shower and toiletry area, so you can refresh under the trees while still feeling tucked away in your own space. Thoughtful touches—including Bibles for both men and women in each dome—make this retreat feel like a soulful, restorative getaway.

Our dome was great! My daughter and dog both loved the little hiking trail near the creek, and the setting was perfect. The view from our dome was beautiful, and we’re looking forward to visiting again in warmer weather to enjoy some creek play. Kara and John were kind and welcoming and they have clearly put thought and love into the whole place.

Got to take advantage of a couple unseasonably warm Feb days so I headed up to Bug Tussell. What a great camp spot. Loved the drive down the gravel road. The side of the mountain was cool and saw a nice size buck. Then driving thru hay fields was fun. The hay field was wonderful to just go find a cleared spot and look up at the sky.
Even in the dead of winter, the trees & creek were beautiful.
Looking forward to booking in the Spring, Summer and Fall.

Brian's location is a perfect 10. I arrived in sub freezing temps. Brian insured that I had a hookup for small electric heater. Grounds are very relaxing and plenty of room for my dog to run. Hope to make this an annual stop as I travel.

Dustin's land is absolutely beautiful. We camped at FF3 hollow (yurt), it was well secluded and has a waterfront. This was an amazing experience! Only downfall I would warn future guests is, there is a hike down to the camp sites. As someone not in shape, it took my breath away each time we had to hike back up to the parking area. We will most definitely return but we will not be camping at the bottom of the hill next time.
