This is a very nice spot, but there are a few things I wish we had known in advance. It doesn’t have the privacy we hoped for, as the two campsites are less than 100 feet apart with very few trees in between. Next time, we’ll rent both campsites so we have it all to ourselves. There’s a rooster nearby that starts getting very active around 4:30 AM. Also, the creek has no current so it gets very buggy - bring plenty of bug spray! Some firewood was supplied but wasn’t chopped, and it wasn’t kept under cover… fortunately it hadn’t rained in awhile so it wasn’t too wet to burn, but I wish we had brought an axe.

If my dog could use Hipcamp, he would book this site every week. Great shady space for camping and relaxing. The outhouse looks good- clean and well-kept. We saw deer when driving around, and someone's Pyrenees came by to check us out but didn't engage with my dog.

Our 26’ RV did not fit all the way into the little pad but we got close enough to have the hot tub right outside the door! The hot tub was a great addition to the day!!!

This site worked great for our purposes which was just a place to lay down in our little tent as we passed through Chattanooga on a road trip. However, the site was kind of difficult to find. (We did come in late at night, though) A sign or something indicating where it was would have been helpful regardless! Overall I recommend if you can handle some city noises. Great spot to lay your head for the price, once you find it.

17 ft travel trailer

Unique space if you want a cabin and rv pad. I just had an rv and it's cool that they don't rent the cabin to someone else when you rent the rv pad. The description was very accurate so I had no false expectations when positioning my trailer. It's 17' and was easy to turn around and back in toward the utilities. I didn't have enough sewer hoses to reach, but that was fine since it was just me there for 2 nights. Electric and water was easy to reach. No problems with gate code or anything like that. Very smooth check in and check out. Also worth mentioning the wifi is very fast and was a nice bonus. I selected this site because of its proximity to Fiery Gizzard. The trailhead is literally 10 mins away. Also the small town of Tracy City is 5 mins away. Got great pizza at Hanks Corner Grill.

Loved tent camping at this site. Easy to find. The creek was refreshing, and the meadow next to it was the perfect place to set up the tent. The little pole barn is the perfect place to make a cooking fire. The firewood pile needs to be refreshed for the season, but there was plenty of down woody debris for us to use. SO much wildlife. Lots of game trails to follow and the hikes along the creek are peaceful. A little disappointed you can't access the historic buildings on site from the camping area, but you can feel that people have been using that site to camp for hundreds of years and that the current residents are excellent stewards of the land. We are the kind of people who don't mind digging a cat hole, so we weren't put out by the facilities. The porta-potty near camp, we just pretended wasn't there.

Great little spot it's less rural than usual. Great for a couple or a single person it's not far from grocery store plenty of fun stuff in the area. Great spot if your passing through and want to just pull up and set up camp. Plenty of DDD (Down,Dead,Detached) kindling and even small firewood. If I had more time I might have picked a more scenic spot. All a good spot you can park right next to site so easy to set up.

Good for the money. Had to get used to the traffic and train noise at first, which was at a distance, but not too distant... A good fire pit was there. Where I parked on the street was about 20 ft. from my tent. Good flat surface since there once was a house there. Overall good 👍.
