300 acres of family land since 2000. This area was called Boot's Bottoms growing up and the name stuck. There is a rock wall close to the campsite that was a old grist mill site. Plenty of wildlife, bird watching, wildflowers and creek walking. Some old ATV trails for hiking as well. Very remote and quite!

The campsites are clean and spaced for privacy. The host is very nice and responsive. He has water and other items available if needed. There’s a cute pond with tadpoles that our kiddos love & it’s so quiet and peaceful. I like being able to pick which spot we stay at. All of the sites are nice but site 3 is our favorites it’s in the back and has a nice space to hangout. Theres plenty of shade here too!

I absolutely loved carcamping at Danny's Dark Hollow site! Super easy to find, Danny made it a point to greet us on arrival and give us a quick orientation tour, and the site has absolutely everything a camper needs to enjoy nature to the fullest. If you're looking for a stress free, beautifully kept, natural beauty abundant place to camp, you've found it! I can't wait to go back!

We really enjoyed staying at JG's Campen Life. J & G came out and met us at the gate with our checkin info. G led us to our site where we could stay hooked up since the site was level. We were only staying overnight as we were passing through the area. They had a lot of amenities on-site, but unfortunately since we were just passing through the area, we couldn't use them. If we're ever back in the area, it would be nice to stay there again! The area was very quiet and the price-affordable. The local Love's RV stop was roughly the same price and would have been much more noisy. Keep up the great work JG's and I wish you only the best

Amazing time here. We stayed at site two by the twinkle lights in our roof tent and had a wonderful time. The trails were fun to explore and the property overall was great! Jimmy was very accommodating and very helpful, thank you for having us!

I truly enjoyed my time at the site. We got in super late, around 10pm, and still were able to find everything we needed for our stay. The host has thought of everything, providing simple instructions, rapid replies to questions/concerns, and has a handy assortment of site amenities that would make any experienced camper sigh in relief, and a newbies like us say "holy cow that's so smart!".

Great, private site right along the creek. We had a great time playing in the water and the stars were amazing! So nice to have privacy and solitude and the location is close to Riverside Fly Shop if you plan to fly fish while in the area. Only complaints were vehicles driving nearby even later at night, perhaps ATV's, dogs and gunshots. All familiar country sounds, but worth mentioning for those seeking quiet. Still, it was peaceful and we would go back.
