This area includes a bar with rainwater catchment for washing hands/dishes, refrigerator, freezer, electric tea kettle, microwave, solar oven, complimentary coffee/tea station, 2 burner biogas stovetop with cooking equipment&utensils, games, aerial yoga silks, climbing wall, slackline, Iyengar yoga rope wall, trash/recycling, filtered alkaline drinking water and more! Feel free to use our laundry facilities, communal picnic basket, and complimentary condiments, seasonings, sauces, etc found in the door of the fridge. Attached to the lounge is our air conditioned ecobathroom with *hot* shower, bio toilet, and complimentary toiletries if you forget anything.
A few notes on the property:
Most people have never used an EcoToilet and don’t realize it takes some work. If you have children, you will very likely have to do this part for them.
We keep the lounge area as clean as possible but at the end of the day it is an outdoor kitchen! Kitchenwares will have a layer of dust even if cleaned the day prior, so please give everything a rinse before you using!
You may read about mosquitoes in some of our past reviews, but I am happy to share that we now have a monthly mosquito service in place that has mitigated that issue :)

Our intention for this artist community is to bring like-minded people together and make the world a more beautiful place. It serves as our primary residence and also residence for seasonal workers&traveling artists when they come here. Every year we have the opportunity to employ about a dozen people to work with us during the tourist season, from March-October. Aside from our local employees, we also wanted to create a space that would allow for fellow travelers to join our crew. Solomon's Garden is a 5 acre homestead located in the Black Warrior River valley. Our site is currently under land work construction, as we are recovering from the pine beetle disaster that has ravaged Alabama. Our beautiful pine trees are no more and we are in the process of rebuilding the campground, planting a food forest and adding an additional shower/toilet facility.
We currently have a semi-private camping area in our small orchard that is flat and grassy that we recommend for tent campers on any day. We also have a larger, more remote camp area available on dry days. We expect land work to be complete in June and are eagerly awaiting the grass, wildflowers and native herbs to return following all this spring rain.

The cabin and the sorrounding area was amazing. Thre is something to do for all ages and types of people. Clint was super attentive and helpful, really appreciated all the help and the quality of stay. Having the MTB trails footsteps from your door is priceless!!

Absolutely stunning area and hipcamp! I felt like I was in an enchanted forest somewhere far away. It was super close to the beach too, but even when it rained I really enjoyed staying here watching the rain through the window! Perfect place to relax and work on art

We loved glamping at OMSP. Sarah’s tent was great and she was a very responsive host. The second night we lost power because a tree downed a power line. Some of our group said they prefer primitive camping so they were loving the power outage. We did the hike to the Peavine Falls. We skipped the 6 mile trails before and drove straight to the parking lot at the end of Terrace and you can take the blue or white trail. When you see two benches, follow that trail to the falls. There is so much to do. We look forward to going again.

Such a unique and peaceful space. I stayed in the greenhouse dome and it was the perfect comfortable space to rest after a concert. The common area was a great place to relax and the whole property was artistic and interesting. Would definitely recommend this stay.

Very unique experience! I love the color pink and there was lots of it in the dome to enjoy. The round windows was great to sit in and the skylight was cool! I wasn't too sure about the eco- toilet at first, but it wasn't so bad and easy to operate. Very quiet and serene area yet only 15 minutes from restaurants and stores in the nearby cities. Good vibes here!

Weekend Trip to Coldwater Camp & Cabins
The cabins are extremely clean, have comfortable beds and even have Keurig coffee makers to help with your early morning rides. Bathrooms are also very clean and a 20 second walk from camp. The owner is very knowledgeable on the trail system, and was happy to share his favorite trails.
