Description

Just north of Wyassup Lake on the Narragansett Trail, Legend Wood Shelter is a year-round backpack campsite for anyone who welcomes more of a challenge than traditional car or RV camping. There are a limited number of Adirondack-type camp shelters so pack that tent and be prepared to supply your own H2O. If you haven’t been schooled in backpacker etiquette, you can do your part by only staying one night so that others moving through the area can get a few more than forty winks on their journey.
