Roche a Cri State Park protects a mammoth, 300-foot rock outcropping that towers over the surrounding forest in central Wisconsin. A myriad of petroglyphs dating back to 900 A.D. and pictographs that are hundreds of years old are located on the sides of the rock. A short trail will take you around the rock and to the very top, so be sure to pack your camera. The Roche a Cri Campground is shady and just about picture-perfect. Follow the trail down the hill towards the river and you'll find 225ft of raised walkway through a natural Sandstone canyon that arrives at our private 80ft dock on the riverfront. You'll find excellent walleye, muskie and sturgeon fishing as well as carp and catfish sheep's head and a bounty of other stuff to catch along with scenery that will make you fall in love... The views from the dock are the crown jewel of the property. We offer a central charcoal grilling location by the Gathering House.
