Camping here went great, there was potable water available for us and a bathroom the perfect distance away, & we were provided with a foldout firepit ring, Zak greeted us on arrival and showed us our spot, they were real nice and let us know he was available if we needed anything.
I’ll definitely be back for our next camping trip. ⛺️

Zak was great with communication and went above and beyond to set up our location for our large tent for us and we loved having the place all to ourselves for the night. What a treat!

We had a great time camping at Zak's beautiful property. We stayed at campsite B, which was nice and private. Zak was friendly and communication was easy. Would definitely stay there again!

nice piece of land. site B and C both big and private. from parking spot up to camp site half a football field. small dirt hill to go up.
site B is nicer than C, more space more trees to hammock.
zak provided us with a bbq grill, picnic table, firewood and starter.
spent a night, gazed at the stars in piece, little light saturation

Zac was great, site was clean and easy to access, shower was clean and HOT and pool was perfect for an evening dip!

We had a super fun time. We had shade and privacy. The fire ring and wood super cool to stargaze while staying warm at night. Hearing the crickets at sundown and the rooster at sunrise is a plus for us. We felt very much in the woods which was the premise of stepping away from our busy metro lives.

Our family and I had an amazing time at Zak and Wendy’s Campground. Site C was very spacious and private. The amenities were nice and clean. The kiddos enjoyed swimming at the pool and feeding the fish. Zak and Wendy are also very welcoming, truly this place is a gem!

Tent camping at site C with my brother was a nice retreat. The campsite was large with plenty of space for multiple tents if you need to set up more than one. It had a nice picnic table and collapsible fire ring. The neighboring campsites were hidden by trees and bushes with a good amount of space between each site. Expect fairly primitive bathrooms, though they do have lights, toilet seats, and wash station outside. The land owners, Zak and Wendy, were easy to communicate with and friendly.

I really liked camping there, it was really nice to have your little private oasis. It was quiet and had everything I needed. Having a 4x4 helped getting all the way to my camp site.

Camping was really enjoyable here! I really liked using the pool on a hot day, and the campfire and location was so fun. Zak and Wendy are very responsive and accommodating and have been great hosts. Bathroom was pretty clean for an outhouse, and the shower was pretty good and hot. Make sure to bring shower shoes if you are showering here.

This campsite was exactly what we were looking for! The location was great; it wasn't too far from anything you needed be it grocery stores or hiking trails, but it was also secluded enough to give you the full camping experience. They provided nice drinking water and the bathrooms were very clean and nice to use. They do have a pretty big poison oak problem as they mentioned, but all paths and campsites are more than clear, so it was not an issue at all as long as you keep an eye out. Overall, I definitely recommend this campsite for a fantastic camping experience at a very reasonable price point!

Zak & Wendy's primitive adventure site is a great tent camping spot! Zak is a great host and willing to help with anything you might need. Site B is more secluded than the other sites, but still very close to everything, including bathroom and shower. It should be noted, the site does require walking up a somewhat steep hill to get there. I would highly recommend using the shuttle/tractor option to help get your stuff to the site. Overall, we would definitely recommend this campsite and can't wait come back again!

Camping at Zak and Wendy's site was super easy, efficient, private, and affordable! Zak showed us our plot, offered us nice accommodations with a fire pit, wood, and even a cool packet that changed the colour of the fire. We had a nice time relaxing on the rented plot of land.
Check in and out were very easy and we had no issues at all during the trip. Bathroom shacks were clean and convenient!

Zak and Wendy's campsites are great escape from Bay Area. All the camps are situated amidst beautiful oaks (just make sure you also know what poison oak looks like!). They are warm and welcoming and happy to help out with whatever you need. They only recently started hosting hipcampers, so not everything is 100% dialed in (e.g. our picnic table was quite slanted, but easily remedied with some fire wood). But they are always happy to help get whatever you need. Easy access to rest of the area and many outdoor activities.

I stayed at site C and was very pleased with the site. The site was spacious and I quickly found a level spot for my tent and the portable fire ring. This site has a fantastic view of the night sky and I heard owls in the tress in the evening. This site is very private and just about a 2 minute walk to the showers or outhouses. The site is quite big and there are a few options for tent placement. There are some poison oak bushes but they are not near the camp site and easily avoidable. This site is shaded in the morning then has great sun all day and then nicely shaded again in the late afternoon. It was a great place to hang out and enjoy a campfire. Zak and Wendy are fantastic hosts and really want you to have a good time / experience while camping here. I will definitely be back!
