I had to find housing for a lot of actors for a TV shoot, and Salamander Hollow was awesome! Mary is extremely attentive and helpful, and goes out of her way to make sure people feel safe out in the woods and taken care of. I hear that they had a lot of fun out there. Also, Mary is awesome! Mary is an amazing host! She is very responsive and informative not only about the property but surrounding area should you need anything. This was our second time visiting Salamander Hollow. This time we went with a group of friends. It was everything we hoped it would be for a getaway. We enjoyed yoga on the platform during the day and star gazing on it at night. We took advantage of as much of the property as we could, from hiking, to setting up disc golf baskets, and enjoying chatting by the fire. I think this is going to be a yearly trip for our group as we didn't want to leave when it was time to go home!

We had an amazing time on the "tiny" island. It was beautiful scenery of the changing fall colors. The cabin and porch tent felt very cozy and the interior had lots little items to make it a very rustic vibe. The host was very accommodating with changing our date for free due to rain and was always reachable via text promptly. She left dry towels on the canoes for us which was a nice touch. Price was extremely reasonable considering the uniqueness of the experience and the quality of everything on the island. Only "con" was that we had to leave after only 1 night due to our schedule. Jk 1000% would recommend to everyone and would definitely come back
