Always a great time at Windy Goat Acres! We have been a few times and it is always fun. The kids love the animals and the freedom of running around from cool nook to trail to art piece. We love corn hole with the llamas and the outdoor movies!

Fantastic getaway. Classic Iowa farm with a middle earth look and feel. Lodgings were great, services and conversations with the owners were outstanding, we got to learn about the farm itself, surrounding area as well as many things including the lineage of the goats, their names and personalities of the goats themselves as well as the many other animals at the farm. Had a lovely time at the Garden Bar with the owners and some of the other guests and a lovely time hiking the trails on the property, resting by the fire at our site listening to the animals and the other families on the property enjoy the space. Outdoor shower was awesome. My wife and I have travel a lot, and have camped in and under about every lodging and weather concern you can have and this place is great for an unwind, visit with nature and time with your family. Great job, will be back.

My bf and I spent a night at the Hobbit House and had the best time. The fresh air, friendly people, sweet animals, and time away from the hustle & bustle was just what we needed. If I could suggest one thing it would be that figuring out where to go & where to park was a bit confusing. We ran into one of the owners & they pointed us in the right direction. I think some extra signs could be really helpful. But once you get an idea of the layout it’s not so difficult. We had so much fun and can’t wait to go back! We even had a sweet kitty visitor during our last hour enjoying the front yard :)
