Charlene was the most incredible host! She was so kind, approachable, and informative. She texted us to find out our arrival time so that she could give us a tour of the property when we arrived—it was such a treat to meet all of the critters! She even moved our trailer back into the woods a bit so that we could have privacy and enjoy the pond. The trailer itself is very comfortable, with a toilet, sink, shower, fridge, and table with sitting room.

Beautiful place to ten. Very private and just outside of shediac and the city of moncton. We came from Nova Scotia and we would definitely come back again next year.

Charlene has always been incredible to us. This is the 3rd year we have been and she immediately upgraded us to Minnie when someone canceled, which was such a relief. We enjoy staying and it's a comfortable place to rest our heads after long days of YQM Country Fest! We love staying there and will be back next year and will recommend everyone to stay here. It's not too far out of town but just enough which is amazing for traffic and peace and quiet.

I loved camping here. I would recommend because it is a beautiful spot and the animals are beautiful and nice. Charlene is one of the nicest people I have met. She makes sure everyone is good and especially her hospitality. Thank you can't wait to come camping again.

We had a short but wonderful stay. Charlene was warm, welcoming and accomodating. We are very grateful for her generosity! There is a lot of différents kind of chicken, ducks, geeses, a very friendly rooster, a chatty turkey, and also goats, sheep, a pig, bunnies, the smaller ones free range, it is so convivial! The campers were nices, pretty, clean, comfy. We didn't have a chance to explore much the land but the little we saw was beautiful, with many apple trees. We recommand 100%!

I don't even know where to start! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we enjoyed every minute of our stay here!
Our Host, Charlene and Jim- could not ask for better people! Very friendly, extra accommodating- the animals- wow!
What an experience. These animals are loved on an extra level. They are well looked after, they have tons of space, shelter and little hiding spots. Got to feed my first TURKEY by hand! Extra special for me!
They nights were friendly, propane fire pit ( we had a fire ban on province wide) . Port-a-pottie's are just what they are, but they were always clean, lots of toilet paper and hand sanitizer, lots of water stations, and even though I never used them, camp showers were available.
I will have lasting memories of our stay and can't wait to go back!
I would highly recommend this campground!

The Far Side
Charlene and Jim were wonderful hosts!!! They went out of their way to make our experience memorable. We enjoyed all the farm animals especially Cedric the Chicken! We will be back for sure!

We've been camping for several years. I've never had such a bad experience. I wonder why this site appears on your website!
We didn't have much choice given the busy Acadian Day holiday.
Was there nothing that matched the reviews I read on the website? This isn't a real campground. We had traveled a long way, and it was super hot.
1) There's no official campground sign, and no office either. You have to text the lady to come out and see us.
2) We had reserved the "Winnie camper" (because the trailer seemed to be in worse condition). The camper owner rented the camper to another family without notifying us first. She never apologized! She said there were a lot of them and the trailer wasn't big enough for them. She added them to our reservation without telling us!
3) It wasn't the same level of comfort. It was so hot! It said there was an indoor shower, but it didn't work! We had to open the windows to get some sleep, but there were holes in the screens and lots of mosquitoes inside the old caravan that kept us awake!
4) In the comments, there's talk of a stream where you can cool off, but that's not the case at all; there are only ponds with stagnant brown water that you don't even want to wet your feet in!
5) The place is neglected; the animals aren't in a building (the poor things), they scream constantly, they're pathetic.
6) We left at 3 a.m.; there were lots of mosquitoes. I was so furious. I don't understand why this site is listed as an official camping site lik

Had a great weekend getaway!
We had a wonderful time staying in the Minnie this past weekend. The trailer was exactly as described; clean, comfortable, and a great alternative to tent camping. It made for an easy and relaxing outdoor experience.
One unexpected highlight was the friendly rooster who stopped by to hang out during the day, and we could hear sheep "bah-ing" in the distance, which added a touch of charm and comedy to the peaceful surroundings.
The location was perfect for stargazing by the fire, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and serene. The hosts were welcoming and helpful without being intrusive, which we really appreciated.
If you're looking to disconnect and enjoy a quiet escape without the distractions of city life, I definitely recommend this spot!

The Winnebago was so fun to stay in, but the best part was all of the animals! The hosts were incredibly friendly and flexible with our arrival time being subject to our long drive, then helpful in making sure the grass was firm enough for our vehicle. Great experience!

What an excellent farm camping experience in New Brunswick! Charlene and Jim were most amazing hosts, Charlene showed us around the whole farm and we got to meet sheep, goats, ducks, turkeys, chicken, wild bunnies and a whole lot more. There are two adorable trailers and an abundant area to pitch your tent, wether you're looking for something more private or you're camping with the whole family. We loved walking around the pathways, especially the lit-up bridge accross a stream that takes you to the Far Side (more tenting spots here!)
This is a paradise for the kids, or those who are young at heart, and Charlene and Jim make you feel like you're home - Charlene even showed me the wool they got from Dodger the sheep this year! There are also lots amenities nearby, with Moncton and Shediac being a quick drive away!
100% would camp here again!

Good spot, mostly quiet. Host a little hard to contact before arriving, parking a little far from sight. Overall nice place with very clean Porta-potty.

Charlene/Jim are amazing host. Their property is beautiful, well maintained. The path lighting for late arrival, very much appreciated. The animals were great and entertaining.
Location is great between Shediac and Dieppe.
I highly recommend Kavanagh Farm Camping for your next trip; tent, camper or renting one of their campers.

myself and my cousin loved our stay at Kavanagh farm!! Charlene is more than accommodating and overall a wonderful host:) the view of the stars is hard to beat and the location is perfect for travelling in and out of moncton!! stayed here for YQM and would certainly recommend🤠🤠

Such a nice special spot. Charlene was so nice and welcoming. Location is perfect for visiting lots of different tourist spots such as shediac beaches and hopewell rocks that isn't too far. Would deffinetly recommend!
