We started off spending weekends camping on our peaceful pocket of bush paradise when we built our home. We have since kept the campsite maintained and a place for family and friends to stay and escape their busy lives. Most recently, we have opened it up to Hipcamp in late 2020 where we have loved sharing our property and getting to know fellow campers.Backed onto native bushland, your private campground will provide the perfect, peaceful escape. The spacious campground is located in the corner of our 5 acre private property and is surrounded by native bushland and no direct neighbours.  The campground is protected and provides a windbreak from the predominant South Westerly winds. There are NO FACILITIES, so you must have your own camp toilet in order to stay. There is fresh tank water available, suitable for drinking. Our preference is for campers to fill up at the beginning of your stay as it is located on the private house property. Located only 8km from the township and beaches of Inverloch and picturesque Bunurong Marine National Park, it is the perfect location to visit and explore the local area, including wineries, small villages, cafes, farmers markets, rail trails and walking tracks, beaches and craft outlets scattered throughout Southern Gippsland coast and hills. Wilson's Promontory National Park (under 100km to Tidal River) and Phillip Island are both easy day trips away. A designated camp fire is available and permitted as long as it's not in the fire restriction periods. Please BYO firewood. Waste and recycling bins available onsite.  Pets are welcome. They must be wildlife friendly in light of the fact we are backed onto bush with wildlife being regular visitors. There is only farm fencing, so they will need to be trained and owner's responsibility. If you are bringing a dog, please reference this at the time of booking. Price is for 2x adults per night. Any extra adults will be charged at $30pp per night. Kids of any age stay free. I loved camping here!! Originally booked 1 night just needing somewhere to stay with my doggoes, due to having to be in the area the next day for something that came up at short notice. Arrived very late that night but no hassle finding the place due to the host's very clear and helpful instructions. I liked the camp site so much I booked a 2nd night so I could have a little time enjoying the place - quiet, peaceful and private, with a picnic table, fire-pit, beautiful surroundings and plenty of wildlife, etc... it was way to nice just to use as a quick stopover! Many thanks Brooke and fam for sharing your lovely property dor others to enjoy 🥰.

Private Coastal Bush Escape
We had a wonderful stay on Brooke’s property! It was peaceful, private, and well appointed with a fire pit, 4 stumps for seats/foot rests, a swing for kiddos, picnic table, recycling and waste bins, and optional water refill. The land is beautiful and had a short walk to the paddock through the bushes where we saw lots of kangaroos and had a bench to enjoy the scenery. Brooke was very accommodating and let our daughters collect some of the eggs we had purchased (which were delicious!) and gave us some things from her garden to try~ Perfect place to explore Inverloch town center and the local natural wonders. Also a great spot to launch for a day trip to Wilson’s Prom which is only ~1hr away. Thank you Brooke for your hospitality and kindness!

Just gorgeous. I booked there as a stop-over late at night when I'd been held up and found myself stuck for a place to get some sleep. It was so lovely I changed my plans (again...) and stayed 2 nights. Peaceful, private, beautiful and abundant with wildlife.

Great weekend away. Lovely private spot. 10 min drive to the beach. Our dog loved having space to play and said hello to gypsy. The firepit was great and we enjoyed the games.

We loved this stay so much that we booked again as we travelled home. It was our first “all to yourself” stay and we loved the peace and privacy surrounded by nature vs other campers. The camp is in a beautiful bush setting with a short drive to both Wonthaggi and Inverloch. The access to water was appreciate particularly during extreme heat and bins meant we could travel lighter on the way home. The owners are helpful and lovely, Gypsie (their dog) also visited our camp for a pat and was great with our lab. Thanks for a lovely long weekend!

We absolutely love this camp site, its perfect for out needs, we had heaps of choice to where to put up our three room tent up and its nice and flat and there's ample room to move around on the site, our kids loved the whole thing very much and we will one houndered percent come back ❤️💯

We absolutely loved our stay! It was the perfect little escape. The directions were really easy to follow, and the moment we arrived we were blown away by how peaceful and secluded the space felt. Brooke was amazing! Incredibly accommodating & very helpful. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My wife and I had a great stay in our 7.5m motorhome, and the camp site was very quiet and private. The potable water (accessible near house shed) is a bonus as well as the fire pit, log stools, and games box. Brooke is very proactive and responded quickly to any queries we had. Will definitely look forward to returning in the future.

Had a great few nights here with the kids. Nice private space tucked between the gum trees, not far from town and the beach. The fresh eggs were great as well. Highly recommend.

​We had such a wonderful time at this campsite! Brooke incredibly friendly and helpful, and the site itself was absolutely beautiful. It felt private and secluded, yet was still easy to get to. The ground was clean and well-maintained, and we especially loved the fire pit. We'll definitely be back!

This was our second stay and won’t be our last. Beautiful site, level, clean, private, birds, peaceful. The fire is amazing to sit around and watch the night sky. Short drive into town and some of the best coast line. We were lucky enough to see a whale this time!

Brooke’s land is such a beautiful location. It’s lovely and flat making it so easy to set up, the surroundings are peaceful and lovely to look at. And the attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. There’s a tree swing, which was the highlight of our daughter’s stay, as well as other outdoor games, a picnic table, a fire pit and rubbish bins provided. We’ll definitely be visiting again :)

We had such a great stay here! A peaceful little spot with just the right amount of space and some fun outdoor games that our toddler absolutely loved. The fresh eggs from the host’s chooks were a perfect touch for breakfast. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks again!

We loved camping at Brooke's property. It is probably the most well-kept hipcamp I have come across so far. The location is excellent and Brooke was a very helpful host. We would definitely return, hopefully the weather will be better next time 🙂

Worth the price for a peaceful, relaxing stay! We spent two nights, and were lucky enough to see some wombats, wallabies, and an array of different birds. The site has a picnic table and lots of games. Perfect amount of shade but also flat, cleared space. Close enough to the town if you need anything, but far enough out it feels secluded. Definitely recommend!

Camping at Brooke’s private beach escape was really easy and enjoyable. The land was beautiful and the area of Inverloch and Wonthaggi was stunning. Only a 10 min drive from either town it’s in a perfect location. Everything you need at the campsite was there - table, chair, bins, flat ground, access to water and even a very friendly and adorable golden retriever popped in for a short visit (which worked out well as she kept our Goldie happy!) Will definitely book again and recommend to mates.
