Located within the Granite Basin Recreation Area, this region has oodles of multi use trails to explore and beautiful scenery to soak in. Bonus: it's only a few miles outside of the city of Prescott, where you can grab a local brew and cruise the cute downtown when you are ready to emerge from the woods.

Beautiful campground. Clean. Quiet. Spacious sites far apart. Great fire ring. High marks for composting toilets! Zero odor. (Do be aware of bees and wasps at the fresh water fill station though.)
