Peaceful Tent Site in Cave Creek

EXCELLENT location, GREAT value, SUPER quiet, tranquil, horse petting, good toilet, but little or no running water, confused messaging about the tent, and really hot by 7:30 AM.

Had a wonderful stay :) hiking trails are right off the campsite and site was very well kept! Very relaxing time, Shantel was a great host!

We stayed here a few days to get to experience riding in the Phoenix, AZ area. We could
Not have been more spoiled with the lovely location, the ease of parking our huge LQ trailer, the first rate stalls, and the abundance of trails just off the property. There are miles and miles of desert to ride- and the area is Very horse and rider friendly. Shantel is an attentive and responsive hostess, and we felt very welcome at her cozy camp! You could not be disappointed here.

The property is immaculate and Shantel is helpful and very pleasant. I would happily stay there again.

Shantel was so kind, accomodating and helpful. We loved being so close to beautiful hiking and walking trails that felt far removed from the city but were truly only a short drive to everything we needed in town. We look forward to coming back again in the future.

Aesthetically pleasing campsite set in midst of beautiful Sonoran desert, even with campside Saguaro cactus. Wash station between camp sites convenient and very clean as was portajohn. Nearby horses added to enjoyment. Host Shantel very helpful and friendly—very thoughtful about camp aesthetics and what makes it work!

Shantel was a very gracious, kind, and excellent host. We had everything we needed from a super clean tent to firewood while we relaxed very close around the sweet, gentle horses. She was attentive and made sure we didn't need anything but not intrusive in any way. Very nice property with tons of stars at night to enjoy by the fire. Thank you so much for a great experience and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended!!

It was well taken care of... with nice landscaping and our door lighting on a remote dimmer switch. The area to place our tent was clear of debris and smooth. There was a nice size fire pit and two Adirondack chairs.
Really great outdoor space!

Excellent camping spot for solo camping. Safe, fun, great experience. Close to hiking trails. Amenities of running water and a bathroom were super convenient.
