Past trip
Sunset Hideaway 1974 offgrid Avion
in Basecamp Palomar, CaliforniaVery cute vintage trailer. Extremely private, beautiful Mountain Viewâs, and all the amenities as advertised. Kerri was an awesome host - communication with her was fast and open which made our quick turn-around stay very easy and efficient. Their property is beautiful, and their dogs made us feel even more at home. Thanks for the stay!!
Past trip
in Villa Macala, CaliforniaWe loved staying at Villa Macala! The property was beautiful and there were plenty of things to explore - our group went for short hikes, played on the boulders, and walked through the various orchards. The campsite we stayed at was well groomed and big enough to fit our large party of 8 people. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful from start to finish. They were generous enough to give us a walking tour of the property and we were able to buy homemade teas, jams, and olive oils from their various trees! Communication with them easy and open.
I would DEFINITELY recommend this hipcamp for any type of camper. Its a great blend of quiet and intimate campsites but also the comfort of having washroom and electrical amenities just up the hill!
Thank you so much for making this weekend great for our group!
