4WD/ATV or walk-in access only with a rough 2km of road to access campsites. Campsites are located along remote undeveloped lake with clear mostly spring-fed water. Sites are located further down on the lake where you will be able to drive to with the appropriate vehicle (listed above). To access swimming water, you will need to boat out into the lake a bit as the sites are located in a low-water area. Great for snorkeling and swimming, but to get out further into the lake where the best areas are for both these activities you will need a watercraft (paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, or small boats). On the lake itself is an island commonly used for nesting birds, and the water is both clean and clear. There is also endless ATV trails adjacent to the property, so there is more to enjoy than just the lake itself.

Welcome to Camping with a View! Situated in Myers Cave, Ontario famous for its stargazing opportunities. Your tent site overlooks two lakes, where you can see and hear rapids while enjoying the peaceful sounds of loons and nature by the fire pit. There is a cabin on site however it is not for use, other than for sitting on the wraparound porch for a better view or to get shelter from the sun/rain. Included in the price: - access to the site (2 flat areas for smaller sized tents) - firewood (please keep the fire controlled) - canoe/paddles and two lifejackets for you to use - ability to use the wraparound patio at the cabin to sit and get out of the sun/rain A path down to the water makes it easier for you to get to the canoe (please leave the canoe and paddles as you found it, flipped over). Fishing and swimming are great closer to both sets of rapids. 2 lifejackets are kept in the outhouse if you don't bring your own. Firewood is included so please do not cut trees! There is a pit toilet on-site for your convenience. There is also a small grill that is left by the fire pit for cooking with the fire. Please note it is recommended that you have a 4X4 vehicle in order to access the site (maintain 20-30km/h going up the steep driveway). Take the driveway up two steep inclines and park at the dead end. Things to bring: - tents, sleeping bags - food, water & garbage bag (please leave the site as you found it - CLEAN!) - toilet paper - tarp (if you wish to have extra rain/sun protection) NO DOGS PERMITTED! - unfortunately some renters have brought dogs and didn't pick up after them, so dogs are no longer permitted.

Originally inhabited by Algonquin peoples the land was cleared for farming and they erected several building including a large German style hand hewn timber frame barn which still stands and is used today. The farm house was built in the 1910 and the original log cabins have been reframed into artistic buildings. It is wild to look around and imagine what life was like before now in a time when the land had no boundry lines and was traversed by indigenous peoples of this area. We have a great respect for those who have walked before us and a deep sense of gratitude for being here today. 170 acre property consisting of  1.5 km stretching along a river with water falls at the fare East end of the property. The rest of the property is of mixed bush forest and small meadow to the South end that can accommodate a RV.The property offers a pristine natural environment abundant with wild life, bird watching and plenty of excellent swimming and fishing spots.There is only one easily assessable  RV spot available on the land for booking, this is a small clearing by the entrance area that can abominate up to a few RVs from one group exclusively, or be booked for a single RV to use exclusively.Accessing the remainder of the land is by way of a bush road that will require walking in approximately 1 km or by way of a 4 by 4 vehicle or ATV to access the waters edge. The K and P mixed use trail runs adjacent to the property and allows travel to Calabogie to the North or Sharbot lake and further South to Kingston by way of ATV right from the edge of the property.Sharbot lake is a short 15-minute drive from the property and offers all the amenity of a small town including a magnificent public beach that is ideal for small children.

We really enjoyed the campsite and the overall park was great. From the trails to the dog park, fishing dock, beach area, and clean amenities, the park was well maintained and easy to get around. The host, Monica is fabulous! She is incredibly welcoming and very guest focused - we loved our trip so much that we are likely getting a seasonal site to enjoy the park all season long! The park is very dog friendly, which was a bonus for us and our furry family member. Highly recommend the park for its super homey atmosphere and hidden gems when you're out for an adventure!

Monica is fantastic host. The campsite is clean. The yellow chalet is cute. Each cottage houses have there own personalities. They have the stuff you need for cooking and fire pit. Access to the water is good. Good for swimming boating and fishing. The hiking trails are marked. Highlly recommended if you like nature away from city noises.

Had an amazing stay at Sean’s place in the beginning of October. He was so accommodating and friendly. We had everything we needed and Sean was responsive to our messages. The lake is a short walk away and even though it was late in the season, we had warm enough weather to take a dip. We stayed on the landing site and had an overall amazing experience. Will definitely be back again. We went exploring and made a couple of new friends in the area as the people we encountered were very friendly. Not a single complaint and it’s nice for people who want to forgo the crowded campgrounds.

🌲 I had a really great time at this lakeside campground. The spots for tents are spacious and nicely kept — you bring your own tent, which I actually prefer. There are fire pits and BBQ areas that make evenings by the fire feel cozy and memorable. Monika, the host, is super kind and always ready to help with anything, which made the stay even better. It’s a peaceful, welcoming place where you can truly relax and enjoy nature.

It started raining right as we arrived and didn't stop until the next day, yet it was still a great trip! There's something special about this place! It feels very private and tucked into the woods, but there's a gravel road not far away, so you'll hear vehicles from time to time. Or people walking and talking and you'll think there are people in the bush, but they pass eventually.

What a wonderful time away where it felt that time stood still in the midst of falling leaves and glorious rays of sunshine. Jason and Susie ensured to meet all needs with prompt responses and, when needed, support. We enjoyed viewing the property, a peaceful boat ride and, of course, the accommodations. We didn't want to leave. A true bucket filling experience where we left feeling relaxed and grateful. Only regret is not booking an extra day.

This is our second visit this summer to Tiny Village Woodlands. Such a nice park! Very clean and well cared for. We loved this site. It is a large site, with good privacy. It has an upper and lower level which is right on the water. The incline between the levels is steep, which may not work for some but was fine for us. Monica is a great host, very friendly and accessible if you need anything. We have nothing but good things to say about our visit.

We had a lovely time at bon echo tiny village. It's our first time here with our RV camper. The site was nice and clean and the facilities are well maintained. We were at site 44, which is in the forest lane. It was only a min walk from the office, washroom and pool. The staff was so friendly and lovely. We're about 5 min walk from the dock and had a great time kayaking!

Weekend Trip to Trapper Lake

I had a lovely Labour Day weekend at the dam. The site is huge, private, and Trapper Lake was perfect for paddleboarding. The hike in was beautiful, but be prepared for LOTS of hills 😅 it was a fun challenge for my dog & I! Kelly is very thoughtful, communicative, and offers assistance in/out if needed. The only downside was noise from the other site. There's a good distance between sites, but unfortunately the sound traveled across the lake and they got quite rowdy. I would love to stay again, but maybe at a time when the other site is not booked!
