Corey's cabin exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm and intentional; the shiplap walls, wood-burning stove, and beautiful macramé décor gave it a cozy, curated feel without losing that true cabin charm. The kitchen was surprisingly well-equipped.
The property itself is absolutely stunning. The river views through the trees were like something out of a painting ; we sat by the water for hours. Even on a foggy day it felt magical, with the string lights strung between the pines adding a fairytale touch.
We even celebrated my birthday here and it felt like the perfect setting for it. Peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. The wood stove kept things cozy all night, and the firewood was ready to go.
If you're looking for a place to truly unplug and reset, this is it. Highly recommend!

We loved Henry's cabin. Peaceful, magical, simple, the river right there while the wood stove blazed inside. What a wonderful escape from the city. We'll come again.

Great cozy little cabin. Amazing views of the river and lake. Great to explore with the dog and go on a trek through the nearby woods. Private and secluded. Directions were easy to follow. Cabin has everything you need that's listed.

What an incredible location right by the river! Very peaceful and private. It was wonderful having the fireplace inside to keep cozy and the cabin itself had everything we needed, even power! We brought our kayaks and were able to paddle in the river beside the cabin which was wonderful. We purchased day passes at Bon Echo Provincial Park to not only explore the park and go paddling, but also to use their shower facilities, which was great! I would say the outhouse was the only weak point as it was indeed the stinky pit style (not the pleasant wood chip composting kind). If you’re alright with that, then this place is perfect and I would highly recommend it! We definitely look forward to going back!!

Henry's Cabin
I recently spent two nights at Henry’s cabin. The location is quiet and surrounded by nature, which makes it a peaceful spot to unplug. The cabin itself has a rustic charm and offered a simple getaway from the city. Communication with Malissa was straightforward and she was attentive to any questions I had. Overall, it was an experience that gave me a change of scenery and some time to recharge.

Such a fantastic cabin! Roomier than expected, cute decor, and comfy bed. Right on the water, which our dog loved! Multiple seating areas outside, and comes equipped with everything you could need. Hosts were very to quick to reply when we had a question during our stay. We hope to be back one day!

Lovely place! Interior design is on point 👌 super cozy. Beware, lots of bugs. Would definitely recommend for more outdoorsy types who appreciate interior design.

We had a very nice time at Henry's Cabin. It felt peaceful and private, and offered plenty of conveniences (most of which are already listed in the description.) The only thing that came close to the feeling of "roughing it" was the lack of running water. This was disclosed in the description, of course, but my best tip to help future guests find more time to relax is, washing dishes becomes more time consuming than you might expect. Consider packing a good scrub sponge, rags, etc to make that process easier on yourself, and maybe bring/use paper plates as much as possible.
We would definitely return in the future.

We loved our stay at Henry’s Cabin! It was a lovely cabin fully stocked with everything that we needed for the weekend! The land is beautiful and there’s lots of trails to explore! Melissa messaged back very quickly when my kiddo managed to lock us out, thanks Melissa!

This was such a beautiful place to stay! A wonderfully cozy cabin right on the water, stringed lights around the campfire and the peace and quiet made for such a lovely stay. We were able to canoe around the lake, and walk along the property without seeing anyone else, it felt very secluded and private. I can't say enough good things and can't wait to return. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!!
