This is a great campground with no amenities. Lots of trails to hike.

Not that many places to setup camp but there are a few really good spots off some trails.. unfortunate that people use the state land to illegally dump garbage like siding from construction and beds mattresses etc..

I would suggest getting here early enough to explore the paths so you can make a good campsite. There is one particular area that is cool and hidden from the road and it's got a good place to make a fire. I would use the area for a group camp and throw a night time party , best thing about this place is there areno any Rangers or sheriff to bother campers and you can go here without having to pay anything. I always prefer state forests opposed to the camp sites that charge 20 bucks per person and have a ton of rules.
