Fantastic place for a chilled stay!
What a fun stay! I stayed for two nights on Lisa's land to see the eclipse in a quiet environment. Lisa was so warm and welcoming - she clearly loves her land and horses and is happy to share, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience someone living out their passions.
When I arrived, she walked me around to see several spots where I could park my teardrop trailer, and she encouraged me to settle in and make a campfire wherever I might choose. I had a beautiful view of trees and the river in one direction, and her many horses in another. There are trails through the wooded portion of the property; it was lovely wandering around and walking back past the river. Lisa also has created a common gathering area with hammocks, various places to sit, a covered tiki/bar area and a platform overlooking the river. Make sure you sit in the greenhouse also - such a cozy place filled with her treasures!
I really enjoyed talking with Lisa and the other Hipcampers, and while I didn't take advantage of the kayaks or horseback riding she offers, it's awesome she has these perks available. Her place is quiet and I slept great; as a solo traveler, I was completely comfortable. Highly recommend for a relaxed stay in a fantastic environment!
