One of the things people love about staying here is the amazing views - including watching the moon rise over the mountains. The developing Clwydian dark sky region means there are great views of the night sky and sometimes northern lights.
You may just want to hang out and relax but there’s lots to do too!
There are lovely local forest and waterside walks, neolithic burial sites, a stone circle, Osprey, butterfly and (if you are lucky) red squirrel watching, a secret waterfall and river swimming, easy and challenging off road cycling options, access to water sports. Or if you want to use a car to help get up higher the Clwydian and Berwyn Mountains and Eryri (Snowdon) National Park are all within a half an hour drive.
If history and mooching is your thing we are just 5 miles from Ruthin - one of the oldest existing Tudor towns - boasting an historic gaol, a craft centre with regular exhibitions and a castle with a spa and peacocks.
Denbigh with its stunning castle, Corwen, Llangollen, Llyn Tegid (Bala) and the North Wales Coast are easy to reach by car. There are also options for days out using public transport including taking a steam train. Please ask - they aren't all known to Google!
The nearby village has a community run pub and shop with the Glan Llyn tafan offering food by local gastro company Sorbus. In fact there are loads of great little villages near by each with their own character and points of interest including great cafes, walks, Punjabi pub food, historic churches and sacred wells.

Our site is in the far northwest corner of Wales UK, on the wild coastal edge of the Llŷn Peninsula, or Penllŷn in Welsh. We are surrounded by sea and look across to the mountains of Eryri / Snowdonia.
The camping area is part of our private property where we live and work, along with our dog. We are restoring our land to a wildflower meadow and other nature friendly habitat, but allowing use of one field for seasonal camping and occasionally larger gatherings.
We are in an ideal spot for cyclists and walkers exploring the coast of Wales (we are a short diversion from the national coast path). Low carbon travellers are welcome, with Pwllheli train station about 5 miles away and we are also on the main Pwllheli to Aberdaron bus route. We can accommodate a limited number of vehicles including camper vans and smaller motor homes (please check size with us first to ensure your van or motorhome is not too wide for our track).
The field is accessed by a good quality track which bypasses the house and garden and goes direct into the field. So we can accommodate cars, tents and camper vehicles there. There is an outdoor tap for water by the house and a composting ‘eco’ loo in the camping field. In the near future we will be installing a water supply in the camping area. We can also provide a bbq/ fire pit and can also provide fire wood. Please note that additional fire safety measures or a fire ban may be in place in dry weather.
Exclusive whole site group bookings are possible.
We have a family size bell tent and a large teepee available for hire, fully set up for you, with or without bedding. please send us an enquiry in advance.
There is a wealth of wonderful footpaths, interesting landmarks and fantastic beaches in the nearby area. The villages of Abersoch and Llanbedrog are nearby with a choice of pubs and eateries, Pwllheli has a range of larger shops.
We can arrange for local eggs, butter, bacon, milk and delicious sourdough bread from local suppliers for you, There is both a farm shop and village post office/general store nearby. We are happy to help you find what you need.
We will be nearby at the house to offer assistance so we also ask that you are considerate and also respect our privacy, minimise noise, keep gates closed and access clear. Thankyou

Lovely pitch. I was the only one on the field that night, but with only 3 other pitches, it wouldn't ever be crowded. Facilities perfect. I was lucky enough to have booked for the folk singer Rachel Sermanni, who was just beautiful. Perfect for the location..
Watched the sunset over Aberdaron and rise over Rhiw.

Absolutely fantastic campsite! The pitch was amazing, and being able to jump in for a swim when the tide was in made the experience even more special. The facilities were excellent, clean, and had everything we needed. Walking through the boatyard to reach the pitch was such a unique touch it gave the whole place a rustic, authentic charm that you just don’t find at most campsites. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

The site is lovely - assigned pitches that are not too close to each other so nice to have lots and of space. The outdoor showers were powerful and warm (occasional blips when someone was washing up at same time I think). We were worried about the compost toilets but they weren’t too odourous and there was a slightly more private one down the lane slightly. Only thing to be aware of is that as the sun sets the flies came out in force. We had to take refuge in the tent. The Caffi on the site was amazing for brunch, cake and a panad. With Aberdaron on a few miles away it was easy to pop there for the day.

Literally round the corner from a great pub and has the train station opposite into Chester which is also a magnificent city to visit. We had a great few days staying at Felin Meadow. Our pitch (10) felt nice and private and the trolleys were very helpful for carrying our stuff. Staff were very kind, attentive and accommodating when we communicated via hipcamp. Lovely and interesting centre, and wholeheartedly recommend the incredible cafe- great vibe, setting and delicious food!

This is a really nice campsite that was easy to find. The site is immaculate—as someone who’s quite particular about cleanliness, I was impressed by how well-maintained everything is. The facilities are top-notch: clean toilets, hot showers, and hot water throughout. We had such a great time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality camping experience.
