Amazing 3 night stay on the llyn peninsula at the Hideaway pod at Tyn-y-capel.
We had a warm welcome from the hosts, Rebecca and Dave and my two boys aged 6&9y thoroughly enjoyed meeting the animals, including the friendly dogs, chickens, goats and shetland ponies.
The site was gorgeous with a disused church on site, which was very atmospheric and a great backdrop and views out to the coast.
The pod itself was immaculate, warm and cosy and very comfortable.
We loved the hot tub and cooking on the bbq
10 mins to Towyn beach.
We would all love to return!

We really enjoyed our stay with Stef and Ian with four friends sharing the yurt (one double bed and two camp beds pre-made for us).
The private space is secluded from other parts of the farm and the views are beautiful to wake up to each morning.
We really appreciated the facilities available, including a pizza oven, bbq, sink with running water, electricity, hot plate, dishes, cutlery, wooden bench seating and a private compost toilet. We also had access to the main shower and toilet block, just a short walk uphill and the onsite bar and honesty shop (great for a top up of fire wood).
The only thing that we would have benefitted from is an area of shade or tarp that could be pulled over the seating area, as we lucked out with the weather being so warm!
Thank you both. We would definitely recommend and may very well be back for a return visit in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Nant Bach retreat. John met us and showed us around. It was super peaceful with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and made use of the BBQ, courtyard and wood-fired hot tub which was amazing and watched the sunset from it. The woodburnimg stove was easy to use and keep in, it kept the barn lovely and warm.

Beautiful location, really lovely little barn with all basic amenities. Only issue is it was a bit hard to find at first, though John was always happy to help with any queries we had. We were a little surprised to see it wasn’t as private as we expected - the barn is attached to the owner’s house and has family members regularly walking by. Absolutely fine of course, just would have been nice to know (particularly as there’s a window that looks right in to the bathroom!)
Overall we had a wonderful stay, and have absolutely fallen in love with North Wales.
