A superb little campsite with really nice and clean facilities. We pitched a couple of roof tents at the bottom next to the hedge and this gave us ample room to set up together as two families.

It’s a beautiful campsite, lovely level field the river was gorgeous and our children loved playing in the little stream by the edge of the field. The toilets and showers were kept clean. Gareth was really friendly and even came to the rescue with jump leads.

The site is in a fantastic location, the boat had everything we needed, the site facilities were very good, the woodburner was wonderful, we loved seeing occasional trains go past, our reactive rescue dog loved having the beach areaa to himself. A problem was sorted out within half an hour.

What a brilliant stay from start to finish. John the owner is such a lovely guy and goes out of his way to help wherever possible. The site is very clean and is surrounded by a beautiful countryside with a lovely river (shallow) in the bottom field for you to paddle in. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here it's perfect

This is a really lovely campsite. The pitches are far apart around a beautiful meadow with amazing views. We spotted lots of wildlife in the meadow (grasshoppers and butterflies) and up high (birds of prey). Pirdie is friendly and very knowledgeable, she recommended a wonderful walk to some waterfalls that was just right for our young children. Facilities are clean, there is one shower and flushing toilet in the same bathroom, the rest are compost loos, so it is more of a back to basics vibe, but this was great for us and more than worth it for how peaceful and spacious the site is. We would love to come back.

Camped for three nights over the May bank holiday, three of us and a dog. The site and facilities were incredible, Stef and Ian were lovely and so helpful. We picked a bad weekend weather wise and so the Leyland Arms was a god send! The whole place was spotless and has everything you could possibly need. We'll definitely be back!

Camping at panpwyton farm was excellent.the farm is within the hills of Shropshire with great views. Plenty of places to go walking. With a river running through the campsite which my lil one enjoyed playing in most of the weekend. Enjoyed the wake-up call of sheep first thing in the morning. Def be returning soon. We are a small basic 7 acre campsite in the Shropshire hills between the long mynd and the stipperstones great for wild camping. So offers great walks and mountain biking. Carding Mill Valley is just a short drive which is great place for exploring and playing in the streams or wild swimming in the reservoir. It is a simple site with toilets showers and we have a canteen with a kettle, fridge, microwave, tables and chairs, sink area and power. The campsite is on the side of a hill but there are pleanty of flat areas to pitch up. The campsite has lovely views of the surrounding area. We do allow fire's and can supply fire pits and wood. We have an undercover area which can be used as cover from rain, this area also has a pool table. We allow tents, caravans, motor homes, although dont have electric hookups. We can allow group bookings. We use the site for a festival once a year and the stage is a permanent structure as is the bar and medic cabins, these will not affect your stay in anyway just making you aware they are there.

Coed Obry

Coed Obry is a 5.5 acre private woodland on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. It has its own private gated access from the road and a 50m track leads from the A 4085 to a small car park for 5 vehicles. Paths lead from there to the caravan, bunkhouse, camping areas. There is a compost toilet block and sink (cold water tap) in the centre of the wood shared by all visitors. The notice board in the car park provides visitors with maps, photos and information about the wood, and there are laminated maps showing the routes of around 30 local walks which visitors are welcome to borrow during their stay. Canoe, kayaks and paddle boards are available to hire in Coed Obry and there are several fire pits with seasoned firewood for sale. There is no mains water so visitors are requested to bring their own drinking water, but rain water harvesting systems provide water for washing. Nearby there are several outstanding beaches within 1-3 miles and there is good access to the mountains of Snowdonia; the Afon Dwyryd provides an excellent sheltered river/estuary for canoeing and paddle boarding; the slate quarries and tourist attractions of Blaenau Ffestiniog, rock climbing at Tremadog (2 miles); spectacular waterfalls at Croesor (1 mile); the Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Railway (0.5 miles); the Glaslyn Osprey Centre (1 mile); several shops, restaurants, hostelries and Spar shop in Penrhyndeudraeth (1 mile); three large supermarkets and a regional shopping centre in Porthmadog (2.5 miles).

Fishing is available on the farm, with trout, chubb and brownings on the river Ithon, but licences are required. Torches are a must, as we have no street lighting, ideal to star gaze at night whilst listening to the nearby animals.

There is also a field bordering a river which is used for wild camping - but you'll have to share it with the sheep! Well behaved dogs are welcome (maximum 2 per unit). Gwersyllfa Glyndŵr Campsite is a small, peaceful, family run and adult only site for walkers and cyclists. Located within walking distance of the historical market town of Machynlleth, we're a great base for exploring all that rural Mid West Wales has to offer. We're on the Glyndŵr National Walking Trail and the Wales Coast Path. There are many cycling trails of all levels nearby - from the Lon Las and Dyfi Bike Park to Ystwyth and Elan Trails. A short bus ride from us are the Snowdonia National Park, Cader Idris and beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay. Our guests love the outdoors but like a little relaxation at the end of a day's activities, so we offer a some home comforts in the communal camping facilities barn which has a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, microwave and washing up area as well as an indoor seating area on the mezzanine level. Hot showers and toilets are available in the wet rooms also situated in the barn. You can unwind under the stars in the communal campfire area next to the camping field. There's an outdoor sink on the camping field for cleaning muddy gear and a place to clean your bike if needed. The nearby town offers independent shops, an art gallery and historical buildings. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, grocery shops and a petrol station where you can top up on supplies. You'll get the best of both worlds at this secluded campsite which overlooks the Dyfi Valley's stunning scenery whilst being within stone's throw of local amenities.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven. Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements. We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests! We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know. We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay. Litter: You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are bins around the campsite, please recycle where possible. Pitches to be left as you found them. Noise: Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning. No loud music is to be played at any time. Children: Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area. Dogs: Must not to be left unattended. Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. (We are working on an enclosed dog walking area, however this is not yet available). no refunds on bookings if cancelled withing 10days of booking

Our elevated position gives a spectacular view across the valley, and behind is forestry and open countryside leading to the top station of Bike Park Wales. We are 100 metres from the mouth of the closed Merthyr Tunnel, hence we are known locally as 'Tunnel Farm'. The line of the disused track now proves a level walk through woodland which starts at the bottom of our drive and continues past the Rhoswenallt Inn, 1 mile, and on to Llwydcoed, a further 2 miles.
