On site you will have ensuite facilities in our luxurious Quarry Wagons with a covered outdoor veranda deck and an outdoor bath tub to relax and unwind under the dark skies. You will also have your own campfire and picnic area right outside and parking is provided adjacent to your unit . We have a secluded private hillside woodland with further areas to explore without even leaving the site . We are brand new for 2024 and will have 2 units onsite this year and plans in place for another 2 soon . In total we will have 4 camping pitches with direct connection for water , electric and lpg gas for all your heating cooking and bathing needs

Guests to Rhos y Gallt describe the campsite as a little gem of a site - small, quite and tranquil with wonderful sunsets. The site can accommodate up to 5 caravans and 10 tents situated on a level 2 acre site within the beautiful rolling hills of Montgomeryshire in Mid Wales.
There are hard standing pitches with electric hook-up as well as grass pitches with and without electric hook-up. There is also a field bordering a river which is used for wild camping - but you'll have to share it with the sheep!
The toilet block has a family wet room with shower, toilet, wash hand basin and baby changing unit, a separate toilet, shower and kitchen area with freezer.
The site borders a river meadow where visitors can wonder down and take a walk down with the river bank, relax by the water edge, throw a few skimmers, do a spot of fishing or even go wild water swimming (at your own risk!).
Well behaved dogs are welcome (maximum 2 per unit).
We were delighted to receive a nomination for The Camping and Caravanning Club Best Hideaway Site in 2021 and grateful to our wonderful guests for the nomination.

Nice piece of land with a wild camp feel. I met Dave when I arrived, he seemed like a lovely chap.
The field will be muddy when wet so if you’re in a van beware. I chose to spend my second night on the hard standing as it was very wet and I’m glad I did. Even if I avoided getting stuck I would have churned up the ground pretty badly

Camped for four nights. First two were perfect with a cracking real fire all to ourselves at night under the stars, fresh coffee in the covered barn in the morning and inspiring views of sea and mountains and bright yellow gorse blossoms (April). Second two nights I was on my own and the weather turned gale force winds with heavy rain and hail, but there are plenty of sheltered camping spots surrounded by gorse bushes, so even when some gear took off in the wind it was caught by the bushes and easily rescued. I found a cosy chair in the barn during one of the storms and read from their amazing book collections with the farm cat snuggled up on my knees. Peaceful and restorative for two nights and invigorating for the last two nights. Well built compost toilets with sink and tap and a covered washing up hut with sink and tap made a semi wild camping experience comfortable. Waterproofs are essential when camping in early spring and many layers at night.

A very welcoming and comfortable stay at Edens Nook. We parked up on a dry pitch, kindly offered as it was available next to the yurts. We had the fire pit, bench and garden to ourselves so we could could and enjoy the peaceful space as the sun set. Warm showers and a cracking breakfast. Well worth it!

It was a fabulous experience. The site is so nicely developed and is very relaxed. All the facilities are really lovely - showers are perfect!. My children loved the woodland walks and just being able to explore safely. I will definitely go back as it is so secluded and yet a nice walk into Pembroke.

David land was very convenient and very clean. Loads of spots to make a fire and great areas to camp by the river. The onsite compost toilet was very clean and maintained. David is a great host I highly recommend staying here.
Site is also a quick drive to the town center and large shops for fire wood or snacks.

Really lovely site near Brecon! Perfect spot for wild camping with river, forest and field and basic toilet. Night sky was so clear and the woods were lively with wildlife. David and his horse were both very friendly! Both me and my dog Barney had an amazing stay and did a lovely circular walk to Pen y Crug the following day. Will most definately be back!!

I can’t tell you how peaceful, how pleasant and enjoyable my time was properly. I’ve left today relaxed because I slept incredibly. The lake which is 5 mins away is spectacular. Honestly everything you can think of is provided. Because it’s a smaller site the attention to detail is doubled. Great energy, owners are incredibly welcoming and sweet. I feel like they do anything to make your stay pleasant. I will be back, 100%. I want to come for a clear night because there is no light pollution so the stars will be incredible. Hot showers, lovely clean bathrooms. Also they have lots of spare bits, I needed a pot for cooking and there was a plethora to borrow from. 10/10
