Eight minutes off SR 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest. Our main driveway is CLOSED this year for repairs. We have alternate arrival instructions for you after you book. These instructions add about 7 minutes (totaling 8 minutes) from SR 18 to the campground. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. Our distant neighbors occasionally indulge in target shooting. We have a brand new neighborhood in construction on one of our property lines. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. Propane stoves are welcome during fire bans. We do not have a check in cut-off time. Reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. We are located on a very private property (the only houses you will see are across the inlet) surrounded by nature but only about 10 minutes from downtown Olympia and 5 minutes from I-5 and Lacey. The property is situated on the very south end of Henderson Inlet. We are on the tide flats so twice a day (at high tide) we have the opportunity to explore on the water in canoes and kayaks. The property is spread over 16 acres and is comprised of two large fields (one in front of our home and the other is a smaller meadow off to the side (hidden meadow) and forest land. There is tons of space for playing, exploring and tiring out your kids and pups! Wildlife is abound with eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, shore birds and a variety of forest birds make this place their home. We are also frequented by the local deer who wonder through and say hi. About the campground: The campground is located in the far northeast corner of the property on the edge of the forest and meadow. In the common areas you will find the porta potty, shower and sink. There is also a supply closet that has the yard games and extra supplies. There is a hot tub situated right on the edge of the forest with peek-a-boo views of the inlet. You will also find garbage and recycling bins. There are trails throughout the forest along the 600 feet of water (tide) front. Along the trails you will find several different benches, seats and swings to relax and enjoy nature from. There are also fairies and gnomes who have been sighted in the forest. If you look closely, you might spot one too! We ware, if you touch a fairy or gnome they do lose their magical powers so please respect the mystical creatures. 😊 The sites are about 500 feet from our house and offer great privacy. You may see us throughout the day and evening coming and going from the campground, working on the property or playing with the kids on the trails!

Tent Camping We have an acre of land with an orchard, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, tons of flowers and peace and quiet except for some traffic on Veazie Cumberland Rd. There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us. Learn more about this land: Tent camping. 100 feet from our home separate room with fridge, microwave and bathroom with cotton towels, individual hotel hand soap with shampoo and conditioner, two sinks, shower with a claw foot bath tub, seven foot long, bathroom might be shared with other guests. Cleaned after each persons use due to Covid 19 and just because we are really clean hosts. Campsite faces a Christmas Tree Farm and cows in a field. Blueberry Farm across the street. Traffic noise as Veazie Cumberland is a main two lane road 100 feet from camp. Two parks within four miles. Four miles from the town of Enumclaw.

What a lovely view and open space to enjoy! It was a treat to see Lisa with her horse and pony riding in the light of the setting sun. A bit of magic. The directions were clear to get there. Loved being close to the beach and lighthouse to stroll to. The Bird King was close by as well. A lovely stay.

Patrick’s spot was the perfect set up for us while visiting Seattle. We had originally planned one night but extended to 2 just so we could have more time there. If you need a convenient spot to park your RV (ours was 23ft) like we did then I would definitely recommend this site as it was super easy to find and use as a base in Seattle.

This was a lovely place to camp with an incredible view! Level parking for our 25 foot trailer. There is some slight highway 101 noise, but nothing that would keep us from returning. It was a misty weekend, so we hunkered in most of the time. The clouds amongst the trees made for a beautiful view. We enjoyed going into the very small town to the Tipsy Whale for nice cider and beers. Mostly, we toured around and enjoyed the sea lions, seals, and many birds.

Judy’s land was the perfect spot for an overnight stay on Vashon Island. We had our VW camper van and found a convenient place to park and spend the night. The facilities were great. There is a kitchen, showers, a large event room, but this time of year all was pretty quiet.

We stayed for 2 nights to explore the surrounding area in Carnation, Fall City, and Snoqualmie and this site was perfect. Only 1 RV spot so you don't have any other campers around. Adorable goats, sheep, and pig next to the RV site so we were able to watch them while eating breakfast. Amazing sunrises and beautiful view of the mountains and morning fog. Quiet and serene. Host was incredibly gracious and offered us a farm tour. It was a bit of a tight squeeze to get on the driveway from off the road, but other than that, it was great.
