It's an urban oasis between the road and commuter rail line, it's screened from the road which is 40 metres away but expect some traffic/train noise.
Wifi works near to the house. Wood-burning BBQ allowed on pitch.

Your hosts Michele and Chris developed this unique 1-acre forest garden over the last 25 years creating a wildlife habitat and growing fresh food all year round. They have chickens ducks and a very friendly cat! So unfortunately we cannot accommodate dogs.

So glad we found this site. The gravel pitches are spacious and level, have awesome views of the surrounding mountains and have nearby fields/footpaths for the dog. 🐶 (Always helps when there’s a pub at the end of the walk too!)
We just managed to catch the cider shop/bar when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, so it was nice to have a couple of homemade Ty Gwyn ciders in the sunshine.
The rustic barn on the campsite is perfect for rainy days when you want to have the atmosphere of being outside, but the comfort and cover of being under a roof.
There are ample toilets/showers for the size of the site and a washing up sink with a hell of a view!
We’d love to come back and try one of the rustic apartments too in the future, they look great. Thanks for the stay 👏

I loved it here! As a solo-vanning female it was perfect, spacious grass pitches, easy booking system, fabulous facilities and not to mention the best views (the little sheep neighbours were also adorable)
Hot showers, toilets, water and electric point, washing line area (note no clothes wash facilities though)
The pitches are not level so won’t be for everyone but didn’t affect me, site is well lit at night and there’s a few sweet little glamping pods on site too. Worth a visit and I’ll be back!

A really beautiful spot to spend time in. An alternative place not like a run of the mill camping field, you are camping close to Michele and Chris’s home and in their much loved land/garden/farm. The camper van spot can really only take a VW (SWB) sized van but the use of the outside kitchen and space makes up for the squeeze. The tent space is further away and does feel wild. There was plenty of shade and spots to sit. The rail line and road do mean there is at times some noise but I often use ear plugs camping and I wasn’t disturbed.
Shower and toilet are in their house but beautiful maintained and clean and easily accessible without feeling you are disturbing them.

This was a really great place to spend a night in the Brecon Beacons (in our case the final night before returning home). An unusual location on the site of a golf club, but once we'd driven up the main path and through the golf course, it was easy to forget that's where we were, other than the faint sound of people playing! The views of the hills from the campsite itself were absoutely stunning - couldn't have asked for better! The site is small - only space for about 8 or so pitches. The shared toilet and shower facilities were top notch - the best we've ever seen and didn't feel like camping facilities! Only down side was nowhere provided for washing up or camping toilet disposal. Otherwise, we were the only ones using the field, so it was beautifully quiet - not sure what it would be like if the field was fuller in peak season.
