Our camping facilities are eco friendly and we have 2 compost toilets along with wash basins and washing up sinks. Two hot showers as well. Solar lighting is at the facilities and there is a fire pit available.

If you’re lucky, you’ll catch at least one of the breathtaking sunsets at Red Sky at Night Campsite near Monmouth. If not, there’s always a stunning view of rolling hills all around. At night, the skies become a dazzling canvas of stars under one of Wales' official Dark Sky Reserves.
This family-run camping field on our laid-back livestock farm is full of rustic charm. Pitch wherever feels right—tent or camper van. Dogs welcome but must always be kept on a lead and cleaned up after (dog waste bin on site, otherwise we are a leave no trace site and you should take your rubbish home with you).
This year, we’re introducing the “Missing Camper Trail” hidden in the woodland—can you find Colin? You’ll also find a new zip line and a slackline for adventurers big and small. Mud Café and den building are still here, along with teddy bears scattered through the woods—no official trail, just hidden friends to find.
Also new this season - a handcrafted washing-up area built by Farmer Ben from wood right off our farm.
Coming soon: We’re hoping for showers this season, but we’ll update when they’re up and running.
Wild camping here means no electricity—just two lovely compost loos and a covered cold-water tap. So bring your guitar, light a fire, and soak up the simplicity... The way camping was intended.

This was a really great place to spend a night in the Brecon Beacons (in our case the final night before returning home). An unusual location on the site of a golf club, but once we'd driven up the main path and through the golf course, it was easy to forget that's where we were, other than the faint sound of people playing! The views of the hills from the campsite itself were absoutely stunning - couldn't have asked for better! The site is small - only space for about 8 or so pitches. The shared toilet and shower facilities were top notch - the best we've ever seen and didn't feel like camping facilities! Only down side was nowhere provided for washing up or camping toilet disposal. Otherwise, we were the only ones using the field, so it was beautifully quiet - not sure what it would be like if the field was fuller in peak season.

We have stayed at 68 Degrees West a couple of times now. It’s a great campsite. There is plenty of space in the field, so even with other campervans there, it feels like you have privacy and room to enjoy the beautiful views. The shower and toilet block was spotless. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Location is excellent. The views are stunning despite our stay being on a more overly cloudy/misty day/night. Close to Brecon town centre and easily reached by taxi both ways. Craddock Golf Course nearby was also very welcoming where we watch the 1st half of the rugby before heading into town. We did message a couple of times via Hipcamp about the pitch but didnt get a reply. However, when we arrived we were happy with the pitches available. We just picked our own and set up.
Overall we were really pleased and would definitely return.

What a beautiful campsite - we had such a lovely and relaxing few days here with our two dogs. Toilets and showers were immaculate and very easy to access from where we had pitched up. Loads of space around each pitch which was great as we have two big dogs who love to stretch their legs. We will definitely be back again soon! Thanks so much!

Brilliant, quiet spot. Large pitches with beautiful views over the Brecon Beacons. Modern and clean toilets and hot showers. No washing up facilities as mentioned in other reviews but this was no issue for us as we have a sink in our van. A hot water tap available if you need it. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back!

What an amazing little place, stunning views, well equipped facilities, friendly and helpful hosts and such a peaceful little spot. A great golf course next door, and plenty of walks to Pen Y Crug just down the road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back!
