Pitch your own tent amongst trees, close to Cardiff, or book our rustic caravan lair. Each accommodates 2 people. There is also a spot for a VW type campervan max length 5.5 metres, or rooftop tent vehicle. Indoor shared bathroom with shower. Campers can upgrade at extra cost to a pre-pitched tent on this site, complete with bedding. Range of facilities for all guests in a large party tent. shared use with microwave and stove or use the wood-burning stove and space for eating / chill out area ! In easy reach of lakes, forest, Heritage coast and Cardiff Bay. Perfect if you are coming to Cardiff to see a show or gig. 10 minutes walk from site to Eastbrook train station. 15 minutes by train to Cardiff. It's an urban oasis between the road and commuter rail line, it's screened from the road which is 40 metres away but expect some traffic/train noise. Wifi works near to the house. Wood-burning BBQ allowed on pitch. They have chickens ducks and a very friendly cat! So unfortunately we cannot accommodate dogs. We have winter caravan accommodation. Take a guided walking tour along spectacular secret costalin or scycle tour on our classic vintage tour bikes around the forgotten history of rural and inducstrial Cardiff. - all led by a knowledgeable guide around easy car-free trails you would never find on the internet - Guided cycle tours 3 hours 90% trail, with 6 stops - on lost lanes taking in forest, lakes and wild coastline - a smugglers islands, the first two way radio communication, wartime ruins, and abandoned buildings encompassing local history. Bike repair service on-site.

Indoor shared hot shower and toilet in house 6 meters away. Water from hose. Electric Hook up from adjacent shed please bring a hook up with a normal domestic plug. Washing machine available. Vintage caravan with awning. 1 double one single bed. Bedding provided. Rustic, quaint accommodation vintage but dry 'Europa' caravan in an urban oasis, expect some occasional commuter train noise. Kettle in caravan, cooking in the adjacent marquee . Indoor shower and toilet in house 10 metres away. Non-smokers only, usually space for 1 car parked 10 meters away - please check before booking. Camper van site

A really beautiful spot to spend time in. An alternative place not like a run of the mill camping field, you are camping close to Michele and Chris’s home and in their much loved land/garden/farm. The camper van spot can really only take a VW (SWB) sized van but the use of the outside kitchen and space makes up for the squeeze. The tent space is further away and does feel wild. There was plenty of shade and spots to sit. The rail line and road do mean there is at times some noise but I often use ear plugs camping and I wasn’t disturbed. Shower and toilet are in their house but beautiful maintained and clean and easily accessible without feeling you are disturbing them.

I would definitely recommend, great hosts who went above and beyond to make sure our trip was easy and enjoyable. Fab little place to stay if you like a rustic stay allowing you to feel closer to nature. The breakfast made with home grown produce was amazing and I highly recommend. We will be back again 😊
