CAMPFIRES We love campfires and see them as an integral part of the camping experience. Campfires bring people together at the end of the day, to cook, socialise and relax. The smell of the wood smoke at twilight and the excitement on the kids faces when the marshmallows come out are bound to set you up for a perfect night away from the city lights! We sell crates of firewood, and hire fire pits for you to use during your stay. MUSIC The Lower Fields are for quiet camping. We would like it to be the perfect place for children to sleep and adults to chitchat around the campfires. On the Upper Field and near the Centre Camp we do allow you to listen and enjoy any music. But please respect your fellow campers! We want everybody to be able to enjoy their weekend without being disturbed. We ask for quiet across the whole site from 11.30pm. Overall we are quite a sociable site, with things happening at center camp every weekend. and a public campfire to sit around for a few mins after your sauna. We have a great area for large family groups. We pride ourselves on helping new campers get the most out of the experience come and hay hello at center camp.

Penn Meadow Farm is a beautiful 145 acre, family farm, nestled perfectly into the Chiltern Hills area of outstanding natural beauty. We’re just a 5 minute walk across our grassy fields to the oldest free-house pub in England (The Royal Standard of England) Say hello to our resident alpacas, sheep, pigs, pigmy goats, flock of 250 sheep and of course our lovely boarder collies. Clean up after yourself: Dispose of all waste properly in the designated bins and leave no trace behind. Wash any items you use and return them to where you found them. Respect other campers: Be courteous to fellow campers and respect their privacy and space. Pets: If you bring pets, ensure they are well-behaved, kept on a leash or have impeccable recall, and cleaned up after. Do not allow your pet to enter another camper's space. Quiet time: Maintain quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. All music must stop by 10pm, and noise should be minimal after 10pm. Campfires: Penn Meadow Farm allows fires; but must be kept off the ground in BBQs or firepits. Fire pits are available to rent from check in. Never leave any fires unattended and ensure they are completely extinguished when finished. Cars/vehicles: Cars and vehicles can be on the field but should move minimally and always under 8mph. Car stereos should not be used for music entertainment. We do not typically book Large non-family groups unless they are seeking a calm and peaceful stay. These groups must have authorization prior to the visit.

Our 17 acre Farm is set deep within the beautiful South Downs National Park on the outskirts of the quiet village of Milland (near Liphook) in rural West Sussex (close to its border with Hampshire and Surrey). We have direct access to an excellent bridleway and footpath network through peaceful open countryside and quiet lanes as well as being on the Serpent Tail and close to the South Downs Way. Our Glamping Pod and Shepherd's Hut are available to book all year round. We also offer stabling if you would like to take your horses or ponies on holiday with you! We have a shared under cover space and also an outdoor fire-pit to gather more than 20 people comfortably. There is a simple compost loo for your use with hand-washing and dish washing area outside. And the rest is all Mother nature! There is no running water or drinking water. You will need to bring your own. No electricity points or WIFI are in the campsite and no masts nearby so enjoy the EMF cleanse. Whether you chose to stay in the ancient woodland or the herbal pasture, you will feel the benefits of reconnecting with yourself in nature, breathing the clean air and hearing the birds singing. The parking is 800m away and there is minimal tractor use so you can imagine yourself roaming the fields and forest of England in days gone by. Fitness required. It's a long walk from the car park to the campsite. Trolleys provided.

We loved camping at Hook Farm Campsite. Facilities are basic but perfectly functional (including warm and clean showers), site is quiet and natural. The steep slopes are not ideal, as the mattress moves down while trying to sleep. It is however a great campsite with helpful and friendly staff and management.

We were impressed by The Barn KT9! Charlie was responsive and flexible, they had more facilities than we'd expected and it was a wonderful family friendly atmosphere. The cafe is a lovely addition to the facilities. The location feels very countryside, hard to believe that it is not that far from London! Would highly recommend it.

It felt like a complete oasis away from the world at the moment. The owners were so welcoming, they had clearly put their heart and soul into the site. From a beautiful family friendly festival vibe of a communal area, to a stunning hot shower, a hot sauna and shady areas to hang out. The pitches were spacious, we loved the food and cocktails van! There was great walking all around the site. Could you ask for more?! We really had a sense of community and connection. Speaking to people we hadn’t met either around the fire, in the sauna or even sharing some cake with strangers at our camp. I feel so full and rebalanced now I’m home. Thank you so much for all the hard work you have put in so we all have a chance to be humans not robots xxx

I loved the peaceful setting of Cattlestone Farm. Looking out to the meadow in the day and the stars at night. The pitches are so nicely done with lots of space and the freedom to choose a pitch. I really loved the shower and loo setup - individual units with an outdoor-indoor feel. You are protected from the elements but the very top section (above head height) is open, giving lovely airflow and feeling like you’re showering outdoors but with nice hot water. A nice way to start to the day :) I will definitely be back!

It’s a lovely place with nice tents and things to do for the kids. My little one is 3 years old and she loved the bell tent and the hammocks and badminton. The cafe is lovely too. We live in London and it was very easy to reach with public transport. Maybe bring some ear plugs because you will hear airplanes.

Excellent location and facilities. We hiked and booked one of the bring your own tent spots which was excellent value. The kids really enjoyed the games and badminton and I had to drag them away from the hammocks. Was also lovely to be able to get a coffee and a treat from the cafe in the morning before packing up. We will definitely be back

Absolutely loved our camping weekend! 🏕️❤️ We went away for an early birthday weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The land was so spacious, peaceful and beautiful — perfect for getting away and enjoying some quality time together. The highlight was definitely getting to do a Hug a Highland Cow experience 🐮🤎 It was such a special experience and made the whole weekend even more memorable! Would 100% recommend staying here and we’ll definitely be back! 🌿✨

A group of 10 of us enjoyed time together camping in this idyllic setting. The wild deer and birds of prey seen in the nearby field were nice. The extra touches like games and hammocks were an added perk. Wheelbarrows were needed for the walk to the pitch to carry our heavy stuff but it was all doable. Myself and friends liked to go to a Pilates class at the gym and with a cafe on site but away from the field was a great facility to grab a coffee and pastrie. Charlie’s communication was good and he answered our questions.

Beautiful, picturesque site - loved seeing birds of prey and deer in the neighbouring meadow. Really relaxed vibe to the whole place. Enjoyed playing badminton in my pjs! Great being able to book classes into the really nicely kitted out gym and pilates studio, on site. Lovely products in the shower.
