This family-run camping field on our laid-back livestock farm is full of rustic charm. Pitch wherever feels right—tent or camper van. Dogs welcome but must always be kept on a lead and cleaned up after (dog waste bin on site, otherwise we are a leave no trace site and you should take your rubbish home with you).
This year, we’re introducing the “Missing Camper Trail” hidden in the woodland—can you find Colin? You’ll also find a new zip line and a slackline for adventurers big and small. Mud Café and den building are still here, along with teddy bears scattered through the woods—no official trail, just hidden friends to find.
Also new this season - a handcrafted washing-up area built by Farmer Ben from wood right off our farm.
Coming soon: We’re hoping for showers this season, but we’ll update when they’re up and running.
Wild camping here means no electricity—just two lovely compost loos and a covered cold-water tap. So bring your guitar, light a fire, and soak up the simplicity... The way camping was intended.

A peaceful idillc 10 acre organic orchard, set in the Shropshire’s rolling hills.
Nestled away on a quiet country lane, just a short walking distance from Tenbury wells. known as ‘the town in the orchards ‘ .
Our orchard boasts a wide array of native wildflowers, birds and wildlife. regular sightings of Buzzards, red kites, owls, deer, foxes and badges.
On a clear night the orchard is great for star gazing. We have fire-pits on site or you’re welcome to Bring your own.
We welcome you to light a evening fire, howl to the moon, and listen out for the resident owls ‘twittwoo’ in to the night…
We have recently refurbished our site. and now have lovely new facilities for our guests to use in the camp space.
Our pitches are well spread out to ensure families feel safe and private.
We sell our own firewood and our homemade charcoal on site..
We have a pizza oven on site.

This was a really great place to spend a night in the Brecon Beacons (in our case the final night before returning home). An unusual location on the site of a golf club, but once we'd driven up the main path and through the golf course, it was easy to forget that's where we were, other than the faint sound of people playing! The views of the hills from the campsite itself were absoutely stunning - couldn't have asked for better! The site is small - only space for about 8 or so pitches. The shared toilet and shower facilities were top notch - the best we've ever seen and didn't feel like camping facilities! Only down side was nowhere provided for washing up or camping toilet disposal. Otherwise, we were the only ones using the field, so it was beautifully quiet - not sure what it would be like if the field was fuller in peak season.

We have stayed at 68 Degrees West a couple of times now. It’s a great campsite. There is plenty of space in the field, so even with other campervans there, it feels like you have privacy and room to enjoy the beautiful views. The shower and toilet block was spotless. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Location is excellent. The views are stunning despite our stay being on a more overly cloudy/misty day/night. Close to Brecon town centre and easily reached by taxi both ways. Craddock Golf Course nearby was also very welcoming where we watch the 1st half of the rugby before heading into town. We did message a couple of times via Hipcamp about the pitch but didnt get a reply. However, when we arrived we were happy with the pitches available. We just picked our own and set up.
Overall we were really pleased and would definitely return.

The Cider Site is a small family run camping site, which made it feel very intimate and homely. The views are great and you feel relaxed and part of nature. We stayed right at the end of the season (the last weekend of October), so it was quiet and the Cider Bar was closed.....but we'll be back another time to sample the home made Cider :). The facilities are good - warm shower, towel rail, toilet. This site is on the border of Hereford and Abergavenny, so perfectly placed to explore either, which we did! Great location! Great find! :)
