FINNISH SAUNA
We light our authentic Finnish sauna on Friday and Saturday. you can buy a £5 Sauna Pass onsite that gives you access during your stay, If its not currently hot don't worry its less than an hour to get it hot!
CAMPFIRES
We love campfires and see them as an integral part of the camping experience. Campfires bring people together at the end of the day, to cook, socialise and relax. The smell of the wood smoke at twilight and the excitement on the kids faces when the marshmallows come out are bound to set you up for a perfect night away from the city lights! We sell crates of firewood, and hire fire pits for you to use during your stay.
MUSIC
The Lower Fields are for quiet camping. We would like it to be the perfect place for children to sleep and adults to chitchat around the campfires.
On the Upper Field and near the Centre Camp we do allow you to listen and enjoy any music. But please respect your fellow campers! We want everybody to be able to enjoy their weekend without being disturbed. We ask for quiet across the whole site from 11.30pm.
Overall we are quite a sociable site, with things happening at center camp every weekend. and a public campfire to sit around for a few mins after your sauna. We have a great area for large family groups. We pride ourselves on helping new campers get the most out of the experience come and hay hello at center camp.

To ensure everyone’s enjoyment and safety, please follow these rules:
Supervise children: Always supervise your children and ensure they do not wander off alone.
Clean up after yourself: Dispose of all waste properly in the designated bins and leave no trace behind. Wash any items you use and return them to where you found them.
Respect other campers: Be courteous to fellow campers and respect their privacy and space.
Pets: If you bring pets, ensure they are well-behaved, kept on a leash or have impeccable recall, and cleaned up after. Do not allow your pet to enter another camper's space.
Quiet time: Maintain quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. All music must stop by 10pm, and noise should be minimal after 10pm.
Campfires: Penn Meadow Farm allows fires; but must be kept off the ground in BBQs or firepits. Fire pits are available to rent from check in. Never leave any fires unattended and ensure they are completely extinguished when finished.
Cars/vehicles: Cars and vehicles can be on the field but should move minimally and always under 8mph. Car stereos should not be used for music entertainment.
We do not typically book Large non-family groups unless they are seeking a calm and peaceful stay. These groups must have authorization prior to the visit.

Our 17 acre Farm is set deep within the beautiful South Downs National Park on the outskirts of the quiet village of Milland (near Liphook) in rural West Sussex (close to its border with Hampshire and Surrey). We have direct access to an excellent bridleway and footpath network through peaceful open countryside and quiet lanes as well as being on the Serpent Tail and close to the South Downs Way.
Our Glamping Pod and Shepherd's Hut are available to book all year round. We also offer stabling if you would like to take your horses or ponies on holiday with you!

Between the nearby traditional market towns of Petersfield and Haslemere you will discover a diverse choice of places to shop, dine and drink.

There are 20 non electric grass pitches onsite, each welcoming tents only. Each pitch allows up to six guests, with plenty of space for tents and gazebos with no extra charges other than on a per-person basis. Unloading is allowed by the pitches with parking in the designated car park.
Wake up to fantastic rural views and grab a bite to eat from the onsite cafe, which also serves a delicious cup of coffee. Days can be spent enjoying long walks in beautiful open countryside, exploring the charming nearby towns and villages, or down by the coast, only 25 minutes away.
In the evenings, guests can cook up a BBQ or relax by the campfire.

Weekend Trip to Quaint Farm in a National Park
Our weekend getaway at Matt’s farm was nothing less than perfect. The surroundings are private, beautiful and peaceful and the hut itself is lovely - very tastefully decorated and comfortable. We were really impressed by the attention to detail, and the special extra touches such as marshmallows for the fire were really appreciated! There is a lovely pub and farm shop just 20 min walk away, and Matt suggested a walk around the forest and nearby monastery which was lovely. We were sad to leave and would absolutely come back! The sheep at the bottom of the garden were the highlight - they were so sweet and loved being scratched! Thank you Matt for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful spot, good showers and toilets and even a tarped area with picnic tables. Pitches were nice and ample. The only drawback is there’s nowhere to leave rubbish and you have to take it home yourself, fine for a day or two, but slightly more complicated for longer stays.

Fabulous site. Peaceful and calm. Charlie is a great host and responded to our messages quickly. The showers and toilets are very functional but you need to be the outdoorsy type to appreciate their rusticness! We stayed here and walked to Chessington World of Adventure and will definitely be coming back. The train station was also a nice walk (30 mins) through the woods which took us straight into London. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful setting. The tents were set up inside so comfortably, shower and toilet block clean and beautifully rustic with gorgeous smelling soap and shampoo etc. Added bonus of having the firepit available with added safety precautions with current dry conditions. Great onsite cafe. So close to great walks and pubs too. Would very much recommend to friends.

I have never left a review on a campsite before because most of them are decent but nothing to write home about. The portaloos were so clean and didn't smell! The host came and cleaned them at least once a day from what I noticed. The view was so much better than the photos really gave justice too. The people we're also super friendly, all I have to say was this place is really worth the visit. The only downside was due to the super hot weather we have had over the last month we couldnt have a campfire but no one has any control over that. I will definitely come back here again and if you haven't.. you should!

Lovely camp site. The pizza van and kids woodland disco on Saturday was a happy addition. Camp had a lovely atmosphere and out interactions with the hosts and fellow campers were all pleasant. Something we were keen on from the listing was seeing the animals. The pig pen, next to the camping ground was easily found. However, it took a bit of searching to find the alpacas tucked away in a corner 2 fields away (my daughter wouldn't let us leave until we'd found them 😅).
The toilet and shower facilities were good, but not amazing. Cold showers one morning because the gas had run out certainly woke me up! 🤣
The shared kitchen was really handy (didn't need to pack the camping stove afterall). There was a large fridge for food and drinks. Then a stove, kettle, toaster, as well as tea / coffee making supplies. More than what we'd have expected.
We would happily come back again in the future. Thanks for having us 👍

It honestly was a lovely stay, each pitch felt extremely private, the grass is so long that it makes it feel more private, its so rustic, i felt safe and peaceful, every morning I watched the sunrise and in the distance could see deers . Having the coffee shop there felt like such a treat in the morning. I actually live in Epsom which was great to feel like im so far away yet right by home

Loved the vibe of the campsite! We went there on a tuesday night and the atmosphere was great! We did bring our own dinner for the camp but it was also pizza tuesday, thus rendering us to the temptation of the very good pizza! The pitch is very nice—we have our very own table, a grill, and a fireplace. We opted to pitch at the very far end and it almost felt like we were wild camping. The other campers were very nice and I think this is the best place if ever you wanted to wind down and slow down against your busy London schedule. It is also nice that the owners have put up an ample space for children to enjoy, they were entertained up until it was pitch black. There is also a badminton area and we’re glad that we made the decision to bring one. The toilet is very near as well. So if you’re someone who’s a late night bathroom connoisseur, the bathroom access is easy to tackle. Charlie was also responsive to every query and from check in to check out, it was very hassle-free. There is also a woodland area at the back of the campsite which is great for family to head on to.
We stayed here twice already and given the opportunity, we’d love to stay again before summer is over.

Best campsite we’ve been to so far! Charlie was very responsive to every message. The camp gave us a good time to wind down and reset. We were there on a Tuesday night so it was also good that we came across pizza night (delicious!). This is the second time we’ve been here and my children love it here. Peaceful and quiet, there’s also space where kids can be kids. It’s a good thing that toilets are just across every pitch. Would definitely come back again with friends before summer ends.

I had a great time camping at Penn Meadow Farm! The site was beautiful, surrounded by fields and woodlands, with lots of public footpaths; the host was welcoming and helpful and the facilities were clean. We met one of the resident dogs during our stay and he was so sweet and gentle. Overall it was a lovely peaceful place to stay with my friends.
