We are a small, friendly site on a working farm in the beautiful South Downs National Park. We have shepherds huts, bell tents and a land pod in an old sheep paddock, all with private fire pits. We’re surrounded by footpaths and bridleways that can be explored all day, and 10 minutes drive from the sea. The Hop Farm is set in 500 acres of unspoilt Kent countryside, known as the Garden of England. Flat grass fields and surrounded by private woodland and also fields abut the River Medway, ideal for paddleboarding and kayaking. Campers have access to newly refurbished facilities, state of the art showers, toilets and washing facilities. Raised BBQ's and raised firepits are permitted - we also rent these out (subject to availability). It's the ideal location for a peaceful escape with endless skies providing memorable sunsets and stars unhindered by artificial light.

We hope to take our first (small) harvest in 2026, by which time we will be fully certified (organic and biodynamic) and will be able to make our wine on-site.
Our glamping pods, brand new for Autumn 2025 seek to give guests an eco-luxurious stay in an area of native woodland bordering the vineyard. These pods are perfect as a base for exploring Salisbury, nearby historic sites such as Stonehenge and Old Sarum, or the beautiful countryside of the New Forest National Park, Cranbourne Chase National Landscape, North Wessex Downs or the Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty slightly further afield.

We had the most amazing overnight stay at the Shepherd’s Hut with our three young children and our dog. Laura gave us the warmest welcome - she was so friendly, helpful, and made us feel completely at home right away. The hut itself was spotless, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need.
The kids absolutely loved exploring the surroundings, and it was such a safe, peaceful space for them to run around and enjoy the fresh air. Our dog was just as happy - plenty of room for walks and a truly pet-friendly atmosphere.
Evening by the firepit under the stars was magical, and waking up to the sound of birds and stunning countryside views was the perfect escape from everyday life.
Laura went above and beyond to make our stay special. We honestly didn’t want to leave!

The camping field is fairly big and basically bare (as can be seen on the pictures). Everything went as expected, toilets and showers were functional (even though not the cleanest and prettiest but that is to be expected from a camp of this size I suppose).
Since the field is so big, it was quite windy without anything to break the winds but otherwise all good.

Weekend Trip to Sindles Farm Glamping and Camping
Laura is the best host and the Pod was perfect!! The bed was super comfy, pod was really clean and the showers and toilets 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful night or few away. The little spot is peaceful and secluded just what we wanted !! Two very happy campers 🙂

Lovely weekend at the Hampshire hut at Sindles farm. Had a view of the maize fields, lovely walks on the door step. Stansted House and garden centre a short walk away. Chichester and wittering Beach a short drive away. Laura’s communication was great, so it was easy to find. The bathrooms were super clean too.
