There are only 25 pitches available. We have a mid wild pitch on the outskirts of the woods, lovely grassed area between trees. Our top field is perfect for motorhomes & caravans.
Plenty of space to breath and relax. Located on the stunning heathlands of the Sutton Heath. We are surrounded by beautiful woodland walks, including the Sandlings walk and just 10 minutes from the river Deben.
We have a bus stop at the top of the track and Melton train station is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. There are access points onto public footpaths, leading to Rendlesham Forest. A famous site for UFOs! Sutton Hoo is a stone's throw away. Bring your bikes and explore the area on wheels.
There is water access and portaloos. We do not have showers yet. Blue/grey waste must be taken away. LEAVE NO TRACE

Fancy some secluded downtime exploring rural coastal Suffolk? The tree-shaded pitches at Hill Farm are in a peaceful setting near the market towns of Saxmundham and Halesworth, and handily accessible from the A12, as well as to the coast and pretty villages, historical hamlets, and popular seaside towns, such as Southwold and Aldeburgh.
This is a site that welcomes families and groups of friends, and it's dog-friendly too (there’s a 4-acre woodland to the north of the site that's great for dog walking). The site has good TV reception for relaxing indoors on damp or chilly days.
The popular village of Westleton (10 minutes’ drive) has a village store, a farm shop, a garage and 2 pubs; and if you fancy a change from cooking, there is also a nice pub and a tearoom, in the Darsham village area (only 5 minutes drive or a 30 minute walk away through some lovely fields).
Back on site, there are a toilet cabins with hot running water, plus other facilities including 4 showers, a portaloo, and a washing machine, grey waste and chemical toilet disposal and recycling points. Wi-fi is nearly all over the site too.
The shared facilities at the top of the site also has a fridge and a washing up area, with a warm water tap, a nearby kettle and a plug socket for charging mobiles. Picnic tables, PIR lighting and Starlink wifi is also provided.
Please not that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and yes campfires are allowed, as long as the fire pit is raised off the ground and the fire is supervised at all times, with a bucket of water at hand too. Thank you for booking!

If it’s a ‘proper’ Suffolk wild-camping adventure you’re after, have a look at Lions Row, a spacious back‑to‑basics site on a working farm just outside Ufford. It’s completely surrounded by countryside, but only a handy five minutes’ drive (or a 35 walk) from the pubs, takeaways and shops in Wickham Market.
You can park at the pitches, which are mown into the long grass. It’s a clever spot for families as it’s a mile from the nearest road, making it quiet and safe for kids to roam freely without any danger from traffic.
As this is wild camping, facilities are minimal: drinking water, a simple washing-up sink, compost loos and basic gas-heated outdoor showers are your lot. However, you’ll wake up to birdsong every morning and go to sleep by starlight on clear nights; just remember to bring torches and batteries for after-dark wanderings.
The views are peaceful and rural, and the field is bordered by deciduous woodland – great for exercising any four-legged pals – criss-crossed with footpaths leading to country pubs (there are four within half an hour’s walk). It’s also close to heritage attractions such as Sutton Hoo (10 minutes’ drive).

Launched in 2026, Walberswick Camping is found in one of Suffolk’s prettiest villages, just 50 yards from one of the UK’s best beaches. Neatly tucked between the River Blythe, sand dunes and the sea, the site offers a splendid mix of beach life and countryside charm… It’s just two hours’ drive from London, 20 minutes from Southwold, and 15 minutes from Aldeburgh. You can also access the pitches across the Blythe via the traditional Southwold ferry.
Set nicely away from the coastal crowds for family holidays, the site has all that you need close by. It’s less than five minutes’ walk from a couple of pubs – one Michelin-starred and serving some of the best food in Suffolk – a deli selling freshly baked bread, pastries and fair-trade coffee, and a playground to keep younger kids happy.
Behind the village is Dunwich Forest, one of the largest wooded areas in the UK, handy for long walks and spotting deer under the peaceful tree canopy. Kids can try crab fishing in the creeks, and you can all go exploring your coastal surroundings or simply relax and admire the sea views from your pitch. As night falls, swap campfire stories – local folklore dictates that a mythical Black Dog haunts these parts… a tale that’s been whispered for generations.

We are a pop-up site at a Norfolk working farm just outside the Broads National Park. BeWILDerwood Norfolk is just a 10 minute drive away and we are 15 minutes from the coast.
We are home to a microbrewery with a taproom on site. A pop-up campsite with a microbrewery on site? Sounds like a fine setup, right? Well, that’s what you’ll get at The Farm Camping!
This is a handy location for all sorts of activities, including walking or boating around the Broads, hitting the beaches of the north coast or spending time fishing, horse riding or cycling. The nearest pub is a 10 minute walk away – but you won’t have to go that far if you don’t want to, as the farm is home to the Wildcraft Brewery, which has a taproom in one of the traditional red-brick barns (and picnic tables outside for an alfresco drink on a sunny day).
As a pop-up site the facilities here are fairly simple, but you’ll have access to toilets, showers, a washing-up area and a wifi connection, and you’re welcome to bring a barbecue for your meals. Dogs, families and groups are all welcome.

We opened The Cross Keys in June 2023 as a space where we could bring our vision into a reality. Most of our team are volunteers who are offering their time for free for many reasons. Please ask one of our team why the pub is helping them as well as them helping the pub. Many people are finding that by volunteering they are able to tackle some of their mental health issues. All of us are thriving by being together, working as a team and supporting each other.
We're not your average pub and never set out to be so please come with no expectations apart from connecting with some lovely people. We are also passionate about supporting local businesses so you won't see mainstream brands like Coca-Cola, Sprite or Carlsberg here. Instead you'll find brands you know we've researched and feel happy to serve. We also support local farmers so all our food comes from as small an area as possible. We'd love to serve everything organic and local but currently that's not possible so we try and serve mostly local, mostly organic products but all are 100% sourced with love. We hope you like it here. The pub has given us all a lot of faith in people and every day it shows us how kind the majority of people are.
There are various activities running through the week but most stop during the school holidays. We have a home education group, pilates, meditation, acoustic musicians, our own darts team, disco nights, open mic nights, bands and Sunday brunch. The pub is open as a pub from Thursday lunch to Saturday 12-2.30pm and 5-10.30pm (ish) and for our Sunday brunch 10am-12pm.
We serve authentic Ghanian food, pizzas, nachos, our own chips and a couple of specials each week. Everything is made with a lot of love.

Lions Row is a great spot. Charlie the host could not have been nicer or more helpful. Very easy communication and check in, plenty of space, and very good facilities (including a lovely hot shower and hot water for washing up). We stayed in our campervan and it was perfect. The most magical thing was the birdsong from the wood next door. We were even serenaded by nightingales - a treat in itself. Would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful campsite! Jo and Carla were extremely kind and welcoming and the site was peaceful, beautiful and very well equipped. Each pitch has its own composting toilet and there is even a mini kitchen (shared by three pitches). The shower was warm and powerful. The sound of horses in the next door field was the perfect thing to fall asleep to. It will be even more beautiful once the flowers Jo is planting grow through! I will definitely be back

Really lovely site. Peaceful. Facilities very clean and well kept and done in a beautiful rustic style. Owners friendly. Easy environment to talk with fellow campers. We went for a walk from the campsite and it was really nice. You have to walk along the road first but then you get to a lovely waterway. Very picturesque with geese and their babies.

We had a lovely hot Bank Holiday weekend, shaded by the woods where we could hang our hammocks and keep cool and relax. We loved having space in between the other campers, and the portaloos were immaculately clean.

We arrived here on Saturday afternoon and didn’t really know what to expect.
We were greeted at the gate and given instructions on the layout of the camping. You can choose from an open field to full on forest camping.
We stayed 2 nights and it was so peaceful, I can’t wait to go back.

This wild campsite is great fun. We camped on the open field because we have solar panels that need sunlight but camping in the wooded area looks a lot of fun and quite magical. Tobias and Joe couldn't have done more to help us. The vibe is relaxed and friendly. The portaloos were clean and always had paper and detergent. There is no shop of any sort within walking distance so make sure you stock up. The firewood we bought for £10 a crate was plentiful and dry so it burned very well. Fires must be off the ground so bring a burner or pay a tenner to hire one of theirs. A great campsite for those looking for a (nearly) wild experience run by down to earth, charming, fun people who let you get on with it but are there if you need them.

I loved camping at Holistic. It’s a lovely, big space and you get the choice to camp on fields or in the forest. There are walking trails straight from the camp site and close enough for other forest walks. We did the UFO trail in Rendlesham forest. Host is friendly and tries to assist with any issues. We were able to camp with friends. I know some other places don’t allow larger groups. Overall a lovely experience. Thank you. 🙏

We had an amazing experience at Holistic Woods, Tobias and the team were so kind and helpful and we loved camping in the woods and having fires out in the fields. Feels wild and free, and loads of great local sites to explore (Orford Ness, Snape Maltings, canoe trips, oysters etc...).

Great stay at Plum Camping! It’s well-maintained with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, nice space, and plenty of firepits for a campfire in the evenings. Love the easy self-service setup. Just be aware there is a bit of road noise, some of the showers were cold, and it was a shame the farm shop was shut Sunday and Monday. Still highly recommend!

This was our 3rd year staying and we'll be coming again. We are always impressed by the cleanliness of the site and facilities. The little shop has all you need. We love that we can hire fire pits and purchase wood. The site is also great for kids, with our boys easily making friends to play with. It was very hot this year, so we spent a lot of time in the nearby woods, den building. Thoroughly recommend this site! We plan to be back next year 🥰
