We have a mid wild pitch on the outskirts of the woods, lovely grassed area between trees. Our top field is perfect for motorhomes & caravans. Plenty of space to breath and relax. Located on the stunning heathlands of the Sutton Heath. We are surrounded by beautiful woodland walks, including the Sandlings walk and just 10 minutes from the river Deben. We have a bus stop at the top of the track and Melton train station is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. There are access points onto public footpaths, leading to Rendlesham Forest. A famous site for UFOs! Sutton Hoo is a stone's throw away. Bring your bikes and explore the area on wheels. There is water access and portaloos. We do not have showers yet. Weekend Trip to Goldcrest - Breakaway Camping

We stayed in Robins Nest. An 8 birth statistic caravan. The beds were all made up and lovely and clean. Lots of cushions in the lounge area to make yourself nice and comfortable. All the staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything. Even took the cover off the sun umbrella for us. There was a lovely family on the Medows in a tent who either waved or spoke while passing. This is our third time this year staying in the caravan. It’s peaceful, no tv programs but dvds are available to watch, along with bird songs and other animals to listen to. We hope to have a couple more weekends before it’s too cold to sit outside. We didn’t need the gas heating but needed and used the fan last time we went. Looking forward to next time

We really enjoyed our long weekend at Robin's Nest. The birds were singing and the sun didn't stop shining. Everything in the caravan was clean and ready for us. Beds all made up. So quiet in the evening. Lovely wooded area out of the sun's heat and a seating area in the shade near a wildlife pond, mayflies, dragonflies butterflys. Just beautiful and relaxing. Booking again very soon. We love it.

Clare could not have been more hospitable, she really went above and beyond for us. The site is absolutely beautiful and the facilities and layout are brilliant. We took our 3 year old and she had a fantastic time playing, cycling her balance bike and spotting all the local wildlife including the resident ducks. We are most definitely planing a return visit. Wonderfull break in Robins nest. Lovely garden with table and chairs. Ramp and steps to doors. Lovely lounge kitchen and dining room area. Everything that’s needed to cook everything. All lovely clean fresh linen. There is a lovely walk in the forest. A barn with lots of extras. Another with everything campers would need, microwave fridge, just too much to mention. Go and stay , you won’t regret it.!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Robins Nest in the middle of August. Although we only stayed for a couple of nights we were able to get the break we were looking for and left with the feeling of having been in the great outdoors. With two young children it was important to us to have the security of a caravan and convenient access to all the facilities needed for a stress free holiday. Our boys (5 and 2) really enjoyed playing in the campsite grounds and exploring the wooded area. The coast was only a short drive away so it was easy to spontaneously nip to a nearby beach whenever we wanted. There was also a fantastic zoo nearby, which provided a stress free, fun and entertaining day out for the family. The friendly campsite owners were welcoming and helpful and had obviously put a lot of thought into providing us with everything we might need for an enjoyable stay.

We loved our stay in Dixie! It is a beautifully well thought out conversion; with lovely attention to detail and thought to guests’ comfort in mind. For me and my girls it was the perfect off-grid retreat, open space, peaceful- but still really comfortable with a fully functioning kitchen, clean bathroom, comfy beds, a hammock swing, fairy lights for evening magic and a fab fire pit for the camping-feel smores. Dixie is set in a beautiful wildmeadow field with open fields around and small country lanes to slowly walk/drive through. Would have loved an extra few days to explore these lanes and surrounding villages more, but for us it was an opportunity to reset and unwind after a crazy year of school. Would happily escape here again! Thanks Tori and Ciaran for a fabulous stay and wonderful hospitality ♥️

We stayed in the absolutely gorgeous Flint Treehouse. My almost two year old had the time of her life. We only stayed three days but I feel like I've had a two week retreat. Heaven. Thank you. Beautiful use of space.

We stayed in the shepards hut due to the bell tent coming down after the summer season. It was absolutely wonderful. Clare was very accommodating and the hut was fantastic. We stayed in the middle of October and did not need to light the fire inside as it maintains its warmth so well. There was lots of fire wood for the fire pit outside, which allowed us to just relax for the evening in the warmth away from any light pollution. The toilets were clean (we didn’t use the showers so can’t comment). I was personally very happy that there was a kettle in the shepards hut to allow for lots of coffee in the evening. Thank you so much and already recommended to lots of friends.

Weekend Trip to Brightwell Country Park

The cabin was much bigger than expected. Lots of lovely bedding was provided with super comfortable beds. The shower area was one of the cleanest I've seen on a camp site. The gas stove worked really well and a small canister was provided, there were also some communal utensils (something we forgot!). The hot water bottles in the cabin were a lovely touch. We are looking forward to returning here.

2 nights at Pigs in Blankets

The three of us girls stayed in the glamping pods for two nights, and they were perfect—warm, cozy, with a great shower, nice amenities, and convenient plug sockets, along with tea and coffee. The space felt comfortable and not cramped at all. The pods are ideally situated, about a 12-15 minute walk from Southwold, making for a lovely stroll through beautiful surroundings. Everyone at the farm was incredibly welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We can't recommend this campsite highly enough!
