Campfires and barbecues are permitted and you can borrow firepits from the site owners. Logs are also available to buy. The site is only 10 minutes’ walk from a village pub if you fancy a change of scenery.
After a fun-filled day exploring this lovely part of Norfolk, come back to your pitch and keep your fingers crossed for clear skies and some serious stargazing.

On foot, explore the North Norfolk coastal path,it is a long distance national trail stretching from Hunstanton in the west all the way to Cromer in the east, views include Blakeney point, spit,marshes, mudflats ,and water channels where birds and seals are often seen .we have a great bus service along the coastal road so you can walk as far and as wide as you wish.We also have great amenities on your door step, such as great pubs a walk away try The Anchor at morston ,or walk the other way on the coastal path to blakeney where you can find great streetfood, a supermarket ,willie west fish shop with prawn sandwiches to die for .i also recommend you walk to cley which is a charming village it has a cool pub called The George and a lovely bistro called the harnser , i would definitely recommend The Smoke House ,Made In Clay ,The Secondhand Book Shop , and last but not least the famous Picnic farye full of great local vegetables and artisan foods.
You are beautifully placed at agar farm to park the car set up camp and not need your car for the rest of your stay,everything is on your door step

We had such a fun time. Claire (our host) was lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. We didn't bring anything to sit on (as we had taken public transport) and she was kind enough to lend us some benches for us to use on our patch. She ensured that our wood was kept dry for our campfire and that she was within reach should we need anything. We would definitely return again. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We had a fabulous night here. Lovely, quiet field with plenty of space. The toilets and showers were very clean. No light pollution at all-great for star gazing.
There were fire pits to hire and wood if we needed it.
Lovely dog walks from the camp and a good local pub nearby.
Peter and his wife were super friendly and incredibly helpful. We will definitely be back!

I had a beautiful peaceful night camping with my van in Archers Field. I was very fortunate to have the whole site to myself, sharing it with the owls, kingfisher, ducks, robins and blackbirds and all the other creatures. Great location and clean facilities. Will be going back for sure!

My grandchildren and I have stayed at Brakehill Lodge Farm twice. It has proved to be our happy place. Peaceful, and just remote enough to escape the madding crowd.
Clare is a considerate host. She loves her home and all the nature it encompasses.

1 night at Bircham Windmill
Spotlessly clean, the showers and facilities were as good as at home, the extra added thoughtfulness of clean bath mats tea towels washing up liquid and lots of toilet paper and hand towel and soap.
My shepherds hut was delightful, and yet again everything I needed with the welcoming cream tea, milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, spotlessly clean as everywhere was.
The windmill, the bakery, the café, my grandchildren loved the animals and the play area. There is absolutely not a thing I can think of that was not perfect. Oh I forgot to mention the games room. Thank you

I love this campsite. It's been quiet the few times I've been. A little gem that's affordable clean toilets and showers. Owners are really lovely and polite and sell bloody good firewood!

Lovely site with very clean facilities. Extra bonus was using the fire pit. Also a very nice looking butchers and cafe on site.
The only down side was the noise on the Saturday night. The camp is not staffed and the gate is left open. At 2:30am there was a lot of noise coming from a group of other campers who had arrived back late. This included noise from cars with one car in particular driving very fast around the field. To say this was unsettling would be an understatement as it was difficult to know if this person may have been under the influence of alcohol due to the speed and also the fear of the car ploughing into a tent. There is a notice up saying no noise after 10pm however this was obviously ignored. The Sunday night was much quieter except for the early morning wake up call from a couple of military aircraft at 6:30am!
I would happily visit this site again if I were to visit the area it’s just a shame that one group of people couldn’t respect other campers.

Great campsite, lots of people around but not too busy. Charging area and freezer really useful. Clean toilets and well maintained. The showers were lovely. Peaceful location, beautiful countryside and lots of wildlife sounds after dark. The Broads close by and beach around half an hour away.

Had a lovely trip, beautifully flat land and plenty of space. The facilities, toilets, showers etc were excellent and loads of them. Nearby shops on white house farm, we largely closed as we stayed over a bank holiday weekend but a nice addition.

Peter was a great host and the campsite felt calm and quiet even at full capacity over bank holiday weekend. I would say the number of showers and toilets were appropriate for the number of campers. The firewood and eggs for sale were a nice touch and the fridge/freezer was handy for people wanting to keep bits cool. We had a great stay and will be back. Thank you!

Where to go
Holkham Hall & Around
Within the NNR and south of Holkham village, this majestic early-18th-century, Neo-Palladian house and grounds were created out of formerly wind-blasted land transformed by the planting of thousands of trees. There is a pop-up campsite open between mid-July and mid-September near the lake on this majestic estate. Also on the Holkham Hall grounds is Ambers Bell Tents Glamping at Branthill Farm. Holkham Bay’s pine-backed sands are an easy walk north, where you can connect to the Norfolk Coast Path.
Scolt Head Island NNR
West of Holkham NNR, more of the same sort of coastline continues and here you find the sandy, shingly barrier island of Scolt Head Island NNR. The four-mile-long island is particularly important for its birdwatching and is accessed from either Burnham Overy Staithe or Brancaster Staithe. Deepdale Camping & Rooms at Burnham Deepdale is linked by footpath to the trail out to Scolt Head Island from Brancaster Staithe: pitch up yourself or camp out in already-erected safari tents.
Blakeney & Blakeney Point
At the eastern end of Holkham NNR, charming Blakeney is the village from where you can walk (or get a boat trip) to Blakeney NNR and Point, England’s biggest grey seal colony. Much of this reserve is off-limits to protect the seals, but trails run through the wetlands adjacent. Camping at the tranquil, informal Scaldbeck Cottage Campsite, near the departure point for seal-watching boat trips, is tough to trump.
Hunstanton & Around
Eleven miles west of Burnham Overy Staithe, 19th-century beach resort Hunstanton knows how to give its holiday-makers a good time: fairground, promenade, amusement arcades and aquarium are all here, alongside an array of camping and caravan parks. There is camping fairly centrally at Searle’s Leisure Park (camping tradition here dates back to 1934) but the best pitching is northeast of nearby Old Huntanton at the several sites along the edge of Holme Dunes NNR (more empty beaches, more ethereal dunes).
