Fancy some secluded downtime exploring rural coastal Suffolk? The tree-shaded pitches at Hill Farm are in a peaceful setting near the market towns of Saxmundham and Halesworth, and handily accessible from the A12, as well as to the coast and pretty villages, historical hamlets, and popular seaside towns, such as Southwold and Aldeburgh. This is a site that welcomes families and groups of friends, and it's dog-friendly too (there’s a 4-acre woodland to the north of the site that's great for dog walking). The site has good TV reception for relaxing indoors on damp or chilly days. The popular village of Westleton (10 minutes’ drive) has a village store, a farm shop, a garage and 2 pubs; and if you fancy a change from cooking, there is also a nice pub and a tearoom, in the Darsham village area (only 5 minutes drive or a 30 minute walk away through some lovely fields). Back on site, there are a toilet cabins with hot running water, plus other facilities including 4 showers, a portaloo, and a washing machine, grey waste and chemical toilet disposal and recycling points. Wi-fi is nearly all over the site too. The shared facilities at the top of the site also has a fridge and a washing up area, with a warm water tap, a nearby kettle and a plug socket for charging mobiles. Picnic tables, PIR lighting and Starlink wifi is also provided. Please not that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and yes campfires are allowed, as long as the fire pit is raised off the ground and the fire is supervised at all times, with a bucket of water at hand too. Great campsite on the outskirts of Norwich. For the price I was expecting 'wild camping' levels of facilities but was pleasantly surprised that there were warm showers and porcelain flushing toilets! Even though it's just outside Norwich the campsite itself feels remote and secluded. Looks like there's a cidery on site as well so shall have to plan another visit when the taprooms open!

My son and I loved camping at Fire & Feast, Cratfield. The site was very tidy. The showers and toilets were lovely and clean. We were very impressed with the whole experience. Especially the breakfast brunch. We felt thoroughly spoilt ! Great, Safe bbq grills to cook on. We definitely recommend staying there. Didn’t see the host, but we booked and arrived late and everything was obvious. Loved how quiet it was and how much space we had: only two other vans arrived after us, we had the rest of the field to our selves. Shower and toilets very clean. Shower was warm but the boiler flame went off and on.

As soon as I made the booking I received a message from jaik with all the details I would need and extra directions. Jaik was very attentive from the get go. originally, from rookie error, I had booked a hard standing pitch for a caravan but I had a tent, Jaik was on the case within minutes and instantly sorted us out. Nothing was too much for him, showers, toilets, wifi and electricity on site. Site was quiet and as per request we were placed in a remote area which was lovely with 2 kids.

We really enjoyed our long weekend at Robin's Nest. The birds were singing and the sun didn't stop shining. Everything in the caravan was clean and ready for us. Beds all made up. So quiet in the evening. Lovely wooded area out of the sun's heat and a seating area in the shade near a wildlife pond, mayflies, dragonflies butterflys. Just beautiful and relaxing. Booking again very soon. We love it.

Wonderful glamping site in a meadow with one other tent. It was so nice to be able to wander around the gardens after they had closed and early in the morning! There was noticeable traffic noise during the night but that was mentioned in the details. A proper shower would be a great addition but again the lack of that was expected. As the public can see the tent from the gardens it would have been nice to have a couple of padlocks. Overall though highly recommend - a wonderful escape and after hours access to the gardens was priceless! Many thanks!

Great well appointed campsite. Clean showers and toilets plenty of firepit cookers for outdoor cooking. Limited number of well spaced pitches means it will never feel crowded. Pitches also came with a picnic bench which is always useful. Would happily return as the area is beautiful.

It had all the basic facilities you need, was excellent value for money, and the location was perfect-close to Norwich, so it was really convenient while still feeling peaceful. Absolutely loved this place. Really quiet, really chill, exactly what it says on the tin. Sonia and everyone on site were really welcoming and helpful. We travelled with my wife, 2 children (under 3) and 2 dogs and we had a great stay. It is just you, nature and your imagination. Facilities are basic and essential and thats all we needed. Location was great, 10 minutes drive from the beach, dog walks from outside the site. We are looking at hiring the whole place next year and bringing the family. Thanks to everyone for. a great stay.

Loved our stay, it was such a quiet & peaceful site. We had so much space at pitch 3, yet felt like we had some privacy as we were tucked away in the corner. The facilities were great, lots of toilets and a hot shower. So close to the beach, stunning walks and country pubs. Jaik was very friendly and accommodating. (Moved us from pitch 11 to pitch 3 to suit our needs better)

We had a lovely weekend camping here, we were lucky enough to have the site to ourselves! There is good facilities - 2 toilets & 2 warm showers in a converted horse box, sinks & access to a covered seating area with a fridge/freezer. This was perfect when it got a little hot & would be great if there was any rain. Deborah was friendly & helpful. Scenic area & perfect for a trip away to switch off.
