Our most popular pitch is our beautiful SSSI woodland.
There are only 25 pitches available. We have a mid wild pitch on the outskirts of the woods, lovely grassed area between trees. Our top field is perfect for motorhomes & caravans.
Plenty of space to breath and relax. Located on the stunning heathlands of the Sutton Heath. We are surrounded by beautiful woodland walks, including the Sandlings walk and just 10 minutes from the river Deben.
We have a bus stop at the top of the track and Melton train station is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. There are access points onto public footpaths, leading to Rendlesham Forest. A famous site for UFOs! Sutton Hoo is a stone's throw away. Bring your bikes and explore the area on wheels.
There is water access and portaloos. We do not have showers yet. Blue/grey waste must be taken away. LEAVE NO TRACE

Update we allow cars ad camper and this land has a special energy. Set in the valley with the hillside gives 360 degrees view of natural landscape. Wethersfield Eco Project is the historic parkland of Wethersfield Manor. This is an absolute gem of a find! Not far from civilisation but you could be a million miles away, the setting is very welcoming and natural. I was greeted warmly by Joe and given my pitch options which were varied (in clearings or in the woods), given fire pit rules and told where the water and toilets were. I had a whole afternoon of exploring, reading and listening to birds and wildlife, a little bbq and fire and played music in the evening. I had a great nights sleep and woke up to the sound of birds .. no rush to pack up and head home it was a proper little life get away .. heavenly and will definitely be back!

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Holistic Woods Wild Campsite and would definitely return. We really enjoyed being able to choose our own spot rather than being assigned a pitch — it made the whole experience feel much more relaxed and personal.
The setting itself is beautiful and peaceful with plenty of space, which meant it never felt crowded and allowed us to create our own little camp setup and enjoy the surroundings. The atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for — quiet, laid back and a great place to switch off for a couple of days.
The toilets were also very clean throughout our stay, which was appreciated, and the owner was friendly and welcoming.
Overall it felt much more like escaping into nature than staying at a traditional campsite, and we had a really lovely weekend there.

Absolutely brilliant campsite. Everything you could ever need and it’s set out that there’s plenty of space and breaks between different areas. Very easy to find and there are a few shops and pubs within a walking distance.
Loved that the wood is available to purchase on site as means you don’t need to lug your own. If anything there was too much wood that I had to leave some!
Nice to have a few toilets and showers and they’re all separate so you get your own space. Good facilities to wash up as well.
Can’t wait to come back. Great price and I love that you can book single nights as most places is two minimum.

This is a really wonderful campsite truly in a forest and there are many places to pitch up. Facilitates are basic but the range who runs the place Steven is a really lovely guy indeed. My only negative would be, on the two nights we were there there was loud music that started at 8pm each night and went on to midnight which was a real shame as we had come for the wildlife and nature experience. However, during the day and the early morning the site was wonderful!

We had a lovely stay, left to our own devices but comfortable in the knowledge any requests where either a 20 second walk to reception or a text away. Wild camping, with access to amenities on site, a cozy couple of nights nestled within a wildflower meadow. Nicely spaced pitches, quiet nights, and freshly made pizzas on site. We will be back! 😊

We went for a walk from the campsite and it was really nice. You have to walk along the road first but then you get to a lovely waterway. Very picturesque with geese and their babies.
