Located on the stunning heathlands of the Sutton Heath. We are surrounded by beautiful woodland walks, including the Sandlings walk and just 10 minutes from the river Deben. We have a bus stop at the top of the track and Melton train station is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. There are access points onto public footpaths, leading to Rendlesham Forest. A famous site for UFOs! Sutton Hoo is a stone's throw away. Bring your bikes and explore the area on wheels. There is water access and portaloos. We do not have showers yet. The Grove at Melchbourne is a nature-lovers paradise, playing home to deer, foxes, rabbits, badgers, buzzards, red kites, owls and kingfishers. You can also come and say hello to our gorgeous Shetland ponies, Dolly and Pancho. We are also just a 2 mile walk across rolling unspoilt countryside to Strawberry Hill Farm, a rewilding site that is home to turtle doves, linnets, harvest mice and nightingales. Awesome back to nature glamping. Really enjoyed our time with great amenities and views. We hired both tents and loved every minute of exploring the area, cheeky pub visit (20 min walk), beautiful views while eating from the bbq and then a comfy sleep. The camp is amazing, me and 2 kids have an amazing time, it has everything you need. The owners brought ponies for the kids to enjoy. It is amazing place in the middle of nowhere and it’s only 2 tents. The other tent wasn’t occupied so we had a wild experience without any other soul here. It’s just beautiful and peaceful place. My kids said they would love to live here for the rest of their lives 😂😅🥳

Weekend Trip to The Orchard Wagon

The lovely wagon by the apple trees farm. Bed room, toilet, shower, everywhere is clean, tidy, and organised. Very quiet, no one distracted us. Lots of starts in the night, wake up with sun rise.. .... Everything was super perfect!! Caroline, the host was generouse and kind , too. We defnitly get back the wagon again!

Weekend Trip to The Grove Glamping

It was our first time glamping and we loved it! The yurts were lovely - comfortable and cosy, plenty of space for a family of 4. It was quite cold over the weekend but we were toasty with the log burner on. The pool was an added bonus and the restaurants onsite were excellent. We ate dinner at the the Pizza/Tapas tipi restaurant ‘Sundown’ which was fantastic, plus a great breakfast in the hotel restaurant. This was all the convenience of hotel facilities with the outdoors of the glamping site. We also had a mix up with the booking dates through Hipcamp and Ruth the host was great, called straight away to sort out and saved us some money too. We’ll be back!

Norfolk

Sandy shores, fish & chips, and brightly painted beach huts await along the Norfolk coast. Head to Great Yarmouth, Hunstanton, or Cromer for a British beach break, and admire the seals lounging on the beach at Blakeney Point.
