All camping pitches operate on a choose-where-you-want-to-pitch basis.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.
Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven.
Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements.
We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests!
We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know.
We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay.
Litter:
You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are bins around the campsite, please recycle where possible.
Pitches to be left as you found them.
Noise:
Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning.
No loud music is to be played at any time.
Children:
Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area.
Dogs:
Must not to be left unattended.
Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. (We are working on an enclosed dog walking area, however this is not yet available).

Darren (Lewis) and Diana are very attentive, and working hard to develop this site which is currently in its infancy. The hard standing areas are massive and very level, and once the shrubs, which have been planted between each pitch, have started to grow a bit, I'm sure they'll help make you feel even more that you're relaxing in your own peaceful bit of the countryside. The toilet and shower facilities are spacious and very clean, and Lewis is working hard on creating a lovely playing area for small children.

A lovely site with all the amenities you could need, showers, toilets, communal kitchen/bbq area, hookup and water.
Lovely hosts with a peaceful site, on our last morning our host made a lovely full English for us which was brilliant! Everything we needed they accommodated for (we forgot our gas tube and they let us borrow theirs too).
A truly lovely place, will be returning.

Henbant is a magical place. I have visited twice and the pace of life and quality of everything here is just amazing. Nothing fancy, just honest, clean, purpose built facilities which are in harmony with the surroundings. Staff are friendly but non intrusive and there is so much land to explore.

Great stay and great value. A rural, pretty field with lots of space provided a perfect overnight stop in our off-grid camper van. Level areas can be found and shade thankfully (it was 30c!). Slept beautifully and woke to a pink sunrise and the sound of a distant peacock! Other campers were quiet. Zero litter. Clean compost loo did the trick. Richard’s directions were excellent and he met us swiftly on arrival. Perfect. We leave with only happy memories.

Beautiful, well kept campsite with plenty of space for everyone to pitch where they like and for ball games in the middle of the field. Very cute and tame piglets, lambs, chickens and goats wander around which my kids loved. My youngest got to bottlefeed the newborns which he was delighted with.
Morag was a welcoming host and we were able to borrow some forgotten pans and cooking equipment.
Being able to collect our own firewood (which was plentiful) from the wooded area was a bonus as most campsites charge a small fortune for logs. We never had to wait long for a shower or the loo and they were always pretty clean.
We stayed during a heatwave so having the river so close by was fantastic. Kids were in and out all day playing on the boats.
We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic campsite. We came in a campervan with family following us down to camp in tents, the campervan pitches are a brilliant size with lots of room nearby for tent camping.
The site is beautiful and we loved meeting the animals! The allotment, amenities and communal are brilliant.
The whole group had a brilliant time and we'll definitely be back, we all wished we could live here forever!

Went here with our 2 year old and honestly it was brilliant. Worth knowing going in that it's a proper working farm - animals roam around freely and yes there's the odd bit of poo on the grass, but that's all part of it and our little one absolutely loved seeing piglets just wandering past the tent.
The river was the highlight for us. It's a protected chalk stream so the water is crystal clear and really shallow - perfect for a toddler to just potter around in for hours. There are little boats to mess about with and we even spotted crayfish in there, the water is that clean.
Firepits are dotted all over the site and free to use, just bring your own charcoal. Really nice in the evenings.
In the mornings you can go collect eggs straight from the hens yourself which our son found fascinating. There's also forest school and organised animal activities which are a lovely touch.
Morag is a really warm host. We'll definitely be back.

Great little site right on the river — I’ve been coming for years and have always loved how close it is to the pub next door.
I’m aware the site has changed ownership in the last few months, and this could be the start of something really good. That said, a few bits of feedback: the toilets, showers, bins and elsan point, while clean, aren’t at the standard you’d expect for the current price. Last year I was paying £20 per night, so a 75% increase alongside a reduction in services is disappointing. There used to be a shop on-site, and things like logs and firepits were available, which made the stay feel better value.
Although I’m not overly impressed at the moment, I will still be returning multiple times this year, just as I have every year. I’m hopeful that with a bit of attention to the facilities-to-cost ratio, the site can get back to being the great spot it’s always been.
