Moose Haven was the perfect remote getaway - my dog didn’t want to leave! It was nice being in close proximity to so many trails, but the cabin was also great for a cozy place to read, watch hummingbirds, and relax. I also appreciated the trails recommendations from Patrick and plan to come back to explore them!

Good place to overnight. I was confused a little when driving in but everything worked out. Road is nearby but not to noisy especially after 9 pm. We didn’t use the fire pit due to a fire ban but the pit looks good.

We had a great stay here. We appreciated all the kitchen supplies and other amenities. It was very peaceful and we saw moose and deer just off our porch. We recommend the rainbow lakes trail at the end of the street it was fantastic.

Weekend Trip to Boyer YL Ranch

We had the most incredible stay at Boyer YL Ranch in Wyoming! We stayed in the historic barn loft and it was absolutely magical—full of charm, peacefulness, and the perfect mix of rustic and comfortable. The host was so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our kids especially loved playing in the river just steps from the loft and discovering books in the little lending library. It felt like stepping into a slower, more beautiful way of life. We even saw a moose just steps from the barn! We left feeling refreshed, connected, and already planning our next visit. Couldn’t recommend it more—we will definitely be going back!

Beautiful land! The accommodations, although rustic, were very nice. There was just myself and my husband and four small pups, but can accommodate many people. It was very secluded and remote which is what we wanted for the weekend. The shower was a very pleasant surprise! Was easy to communicate with Kelly and her husband came to show us around for check in. Would definitely come back!

The sheep wagon is nestled in an Aspen grove (on 56 acres) with a creek just 12 feet away. From there, you are 1/4 mile away from the national forest and the wilderness. There are thousands of acres to explore, either by hiking , biking or horseback riding. You are also just minutes away from great trout fishing lakes and streams. While here ask about ranch tours and visiting with our sheep, horses, cows and chickens! There will be cattle or sheep on the property with the sheep wagon.
