This Fraser River waterfront is 27.5 acres that is layed out in three shelves the lower shelf next to the water that walks along river is crown land about 4-6 hours and only seeing wildlife on this level is 5 camp sites. The next level is the hobby farm hay field and pasture up to the house also chickens house. The farm is close to the 97 Cariboo hwy turn on to Macalister at Soda Creek Road third driveway in on 6831 Soda Creek Macalister Road

10 acres of untouched beauty! Extremely private with 100’s of acres of crown land on one side & a neighbour with 10 acres on the other. The lake is Caribbean blueish green & clear as glass. There are miles of trails to hike, 4x4, wild forage, or hunt in season. There are a couple other lakes nearby as well as the Fraser River & the Big Bar Ferry. Highly recommend!! One of our favourites is the Jesmond Fire Lookout. It requires a 4x4 vehicle or physical ability to complete a couple hour hike! We are a bit biased but our place is a very special one of a kind spot!

Mt Timothy ski hill is approximately 25 minutes up the road. Our private lake offers tons of wildlife viewing, kayaking and fishing.
The property is surrounded by endless trails for hiking, atving and horseback riding.

One acre, unique gothic arch house with various small out-buildings, lots of grass, aspen stands, wild roses, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, backs onto greenbelt where horses graze, deer roam, four friendly cats reside, three dogs dwell, multiple chickens do their chickeny things... It feels like being out in the country yet is only 4 minutes to a small grocery/liquor store.
Bring some firewood and/or pallets and use the bonfire pit (as long as there is no local fire ban in effect).
Unfortunately, we do not yet have an outhouse so we can only accommodate campers who have their own toilet facilities onboard. The nearest public toilets are a four-minute drive away and are open till 9:00, and there are 24-hour bathrooms about ten minutes away.
We are a quiet, friendly family who will respect your privacy, but we welcome any questions you may have and we are happy to greet you!

Let's be real...when booking a lakefront vacation in BC it's all about the lake and Timothy Lake will not disappoint.
Timothy Lake is the perfect size, large enough to be unrestricted and offer great fishing, but small enough where you aren't always battling waves. As you venture from the shoreline you'll eventually loose site of the resort and soon find a public sandy beach, an uninhabited island, and a water channel connecting into Dempsey Lake. We've never heard that Dempsey is a great fishing lake, but it is a cool journey by paddle or small boat, and shows just how awesome the natural world is.....but watch for underwater branches throughout the channel cause a wrecked prop can make a good mad a bad mood - really quick.
Located off the beaten track, Timothy Lake is seldom used by weekend warriors and is never too busy - making it great for swimming, water skiing, fishing or just floating around in one of those giant inflatable flamingo's...... if that's your thing.

Went at the end of the season and there was nobody else there, it was very peaceful and the lake is beautiful. Hosts were super accommodating and friendly, will definitely book here again!

I love the place , my family enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. The site was very spacious for a big family.
Ms. Katie was very accommodating and response quickly to my inquiries.
The only thing disappoints us was our fellow campers near the lake, they were not respectful about quiet time they were shouting and singing loud with their loud music until 2am for 2nights. They even had bonfire even if there is a FIRE-BAN during the 2nd night.
But over all we enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

Amazing location and beautiful views! I really loved the covered area since I was tenting it provided great shade during the heat wave. Coming from out of province it was a bonus they offer firewood! Due to the heat wave didn't need alot but the crate was enough for a little fire each night I was there. Hosts were very help! Had a minor issue with a neighbour and their dog being loose and roaming my site. Where my dog is reactive I wanted to avoid any issues and she responded immediately and contact the neighbours which I was very greatful for!

Our family had a great stay at Katie and Melissa's place. We stayed in the Woods site which is nice and spacious for our two tents. The running water was a bonus.
The lake is absolutely blissful. The kids had so much fun on the paddle boat and kayaks. Despite being full, there was no issue with space to hang out down at the water.
We'd love to come again!

This place was amazing! When I first arrived, I had the whole area to myself — I spent the afternoon reading at the end of the dock and playing fetch with my dog. As I was cooking dinner, a few other groups arrived. We were all spread out with plenty of privacy, but it was also nice to chat with a few fellow campers.
The site was spotless, and the outhouses we’re clean and well ventilated. I really enjoyed disconnecting and being offline, but just a heads-up: there’s virtually no cell service on-site, so make sure you’re prepared for that.
All in all, a peaceful and memorable stay. Highly recommend!

We loved Katie’s campground. It was so serene and beautiful! The lake was swimmable, the bugs were minimal and the water toys were so fun to get to utilize! Everything was clean and well marked! Beautiful spot with views of the lake. Easy to get to. Lots of space. Outhouse was nice and stocked with toilet paper. Took the canoe out on the lake. It was a good time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Make sure to bring bug spray and or thermacells there were lots of mosquitoes and horse flies. Luckily we were prepared, so they didn’t bother us too much. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks!

Unbelievably beautiful spot! This place is an absolute gem!!! The site is overlooking Big Bar Lake with georgous turquoise blue water perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming etc. The campsites were clean, spacious and very private. Hosts Katie and Melissa were super chill (thank you both!)

Beautiful setting and view of the lake. Lara and family are kind and welcoming. The details and photos that are posted on HipCamp are accurate. We will be back for more camping. Hipcamp came through for another great camping spot. The resort is well maintained and safe for kiddos. We loved our stay our plans just didn’t fit a longer stay. Oh and the road is paved and in good condition.
