One acre with a unique gothic arch house and various small out-buildings, lots of grass, aspen stands, wild roses, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, backs onto greenbelt where local horses graze with the wild deer. In our home, three friendly cats and one dog dwell, and outside multiple chickens do their chickeny things (please bring earplugs if you don't care for the early morning rooster crows!)... It feels like being out in the country yet is only 4 minutes to a small grocery/gas/liquor store and post office.
Bring some firewood and/or pallets and use the bonfire pit (as long as there is no local fire ban in effect).
Unfortunately, we do not yet have an outhouse so we can only accommodate campers who have their own toilet facilities onboard. The nearest public toilets are a four-minute drive away and are open till 9:00, and there are 24-hour bathrooms about ten minutes away.
We are a quiet, friendly family who will respect your privacy, but we welcome any questions you may have and we are happy to greet you!Park your home-away-from-home and hide in it for a quiet night's rest, or branch out on foot or bicycle to explore the surrounding hundreds of acres of wilderness known as "the greenbelt" and the Walker Valley where friendly horses roam. Lots of deer, too, and the occasional black bear and fox.
There's a quiet lake less than ten minutes' walk away where you can paddle a kayak or canoe, or just watch the birds and enjoy the solitude. There are plenty of places to wander and enjoy the peacefulness.
We have 3 sites available for tent and RV campers. We can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length and the sites are flat. Potable water available.
You might see the odd vehicle but most drivers smile and wave to passersby. We have a fire pit, which can be used with your own firewood as long as the official forest fire danger level permits.
Kindly note that we do not have an outhouse yet, so bringing one's own toilet setup is necessary. The nearest public washrooms are a 4-minute drive away until 8 p.m. and another one at the 108 Heritage site about 10 minutes away.

What a lovely spot to spend the night! It backs on to a greenbelt and was so peaceful. We got one of our best nights of sleep and our dog thoroughly enjoyed the wide open space to run and play.
Lovely little spot for a night. Christine was very welcoming and kind.
