Ethos Eco Retreat is a Geodesic Dome within the forests of Nova Scotia’s South Shore, with ocean views and the intention to create a relationship between us and nature. It is a place to leave the ‘busy’ behind. To slow, re-ground, and connect - heart, body and spirit. Ethos is a place ruled by the moon and the seasons - and time does not exist here, as we know it in our normal day to day. You set the pace here. With the intention of having all your senses awakened while falling in synch with the pulse of the nature around you, minimalist luxury is the caveat. You will have the best of everything you need, and nothing of what you do not. We designed the dome to be a container that offers an opportunity to experience all four elements - earth, wind, fire and water - within the sacred geometry of the dome’s structure. Loading the wood burning fireplace while the vintage claw foot tub fills with hot water may become your ritual, while the wind moving through the trees, and the waves reaching the shore, your meditation. The ocean is only a short walk down a winding forest path, and is often best enjoyed with a hot cappuccino or loose leaf tea. Every item, from the organic Egyptian cotton and Flax linen bedding on the king size bed, to the organic wild harvested body/bath products and local fresh roasted coffee, has been intentionally chosen for their love of people and planet. Absolutely enchanting experience!
Ethos Eco Retreat
My partner and I had an amazing and unforgettable time at the Ethos Eco Retreat. We were absolutely blown away by the beauty, care, and intention behind the experience. From the moment we laid eyes on the dome we both felt an overwhelming sense of serenity. We truly appreciated every little detail about the space and amenities; from the freshly made focaccia waiting for us on arrival, to the organic breakfast items and Osha Mae products available. The wood-burning fireplace kept us at the perfect temperature while we fell asleep to the full moon and stars blanketing the sky. I couldn't have asked for a better setting to propose to my partner here. It will forever be a time and location we will cherish deeply in our hearts. Thank you!
