Purchased in the mid-'90s the house was given a renovation and a series of additions and new constructions. Our property is nestled in a small valley in the highland hills in the middle of Lake St Peter and Mink Lake.  We offer a variety of campsites on 150 acres between Lake St Peter and Mink Lake. Our land has access to East Algonquin trails, lakes, rivers, and attractions. This is an ideal site for campers looking to explore nature. There is a toilet on-site. Pets are welcome. You will need to bring your own bedding, toiletries, and utensils for cooking. Please leave the cabin exactly as you found it. You will need to bring your own propane for the Coleman stove and Martin heater. In the winter you can ice fish, cross country ski, hike on Baptiste lake or hop on the nearby snowmobile trail for days of riding. Lakeside Bunkie - 35min to Alg.Park

Learn more about this land: Rustic bunkie located on 2 acres, is nestled among the trees beside a small, crystal clear lake. With 700 ft of untouched shoreline, privacy is second to none. From this lake, you can access 3 other lakes by provided canoe/kayak without portage. PLEASE NOTE: The bunkie is for 3 guests only. However, there is room to pitch a tent outside of the bunkie (please select additional guests if you are planning on using both accommodations). The site is 35 min. from Algonquin Park and 11 km from MKC, the world-famous white water paddling centre. 10x10 main floor with sleeping loft. Solar power provides lighting & a propane furnace for cool nights. Solar lights outside provide ambient lighting-may be turned off if preferred. The call of the loons & the barred owl will be your lullaby as you drift off to sleep after a day of hiking, paddling, or swimming.  There is no running water, you will have to bring your own drinking water. You will need to bring everything you require for cooking, eating and washing dishes. There is no sink, stove, or BBQ on site. As the site is off-grid, there are no appliances. There is a split log bench beside the self-contained fire pit.  Please bring your own firewood, matches/lighter,  and/or firestarter materials. Small fires only please, as this is a well-treed location. Fires must be extinguished prior to going to bed — there is a bucket by the firepit. If you are wondering if something is there, I suggest you reach out to check with me before arrival. There is a new private outhouse on site. The outhouse is past the bunkie along the path. Solar lights work with the flick of a switch — one switch by the door, one by the bed. You have access to 2 kayaks and 1 canoe, 2 adult lifejackets. These are located on the waterfront between the bunkie and the house @260 Matcheski Road. Please return these as you found them after each use. They are shared with the guests at the house. It is a natural shoreline at the bunkie, with a sandy bottom — pretty good swimming, actually! Absolutely no harsh chemicals/detergents in the water! Please leave the site tidy and as you found it. Take your garbage and recycling. This is a small lakeside community —  no loud music, please. Respect the solitude!  Please respect the natural setting — leave it as you found it, do not cut live growth.

Kingscote Campsites - Algonquin

These campsites are newly developed and are located at the very southern tip of Algonquin Park. There are about 30 - 50 feet between most campsites. Depending on the campsite sometimes there is more than 50 ft or less than 50 feet as some campsites are meant to go together when people are traveling in groups. You will need to put in a request and details, for the time you would like to book. The site will not book automatically. The more details you give me the better I can decide which site is best for you. There are lots of trails and less than an hour from the Algonquin Park East Gate. Please be respectful of the other campers and leave the property as clean as you found it. There is horseback riding available next door and canoe, kayak and SUP rentals 2 km from the campsites. These campsites are also located within the Geocaching Capital of Canada, so a great place to find treasures, nearby. Kingscote Lake is about 7 km up the road and High Falls Hiking trailhead is about 2 km from campsites.
