Dude's Off Grid Camp
4 sites · RVs, Tents2 acres · FLWe recently purchased this beautiful property from Matt and Rachel so please bear with us while we work on making changes to this page. The campsites will be as they are listed. I’m very excited about sharing some of this with you. This off the grid property has been in building stages since 2018 and features multiple solar systems. There are three tent camping spaces, and one RV space. All guests have access to our shared bath house with large open air shower and flush toilet. This property is not super large at 2ac but we rarely book more than a couple sites at a time so it's rarely crowded and whichever spot you choose you have access to the other spots to walk to the pond if unoccupied. Only site 2 and 3 has pond views. But at all our sites you will be under trees, and mostly shaded. Our property is primarily 21/up. We do have a dog and two cats living here with us. Dogs are not allowed but we are willing to talk to you about your pet and to see if it could be OK. Our animals are family. It is their home and I want them always to feel safe. Thank you for understanding. We would also limit the length of stay to five days unless we talk and make a different agreement.

Moondancing Meadows
11 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents5 acres · Ocala, FLIn 2020 a few friends asked if they could hold a few wellness retreats on our property out of the blue. we loved hosting so much, we decided to do this full time! It has evolved from pitching regular camping tents, to the luxurious glamping tents we have today! When it came time to name our property, we used a cute pet name, Dru uses for me, Moondance, as inspiration for Moondancing Meadows. Moondancing Meadows is a back-to-nature wellness glamping facility. We believe in enjoying the abundance of nature, with a few creature comforts. Our five canvas glamping bell tents are nestled in to nature. All the tents have a beautiful Florida forest view and is located in a private area of the campground. They have all been beautifully furnished with real mattresses, sitting area, storage, indoor and outdoor lighting, along with other perks. In the summer, the tents have battery operated fans and the tents are well ventilation. In the winter, we offer propane heaters as an add on. Each site has its own personal touch such as a hammock, picnic table, or private seating area. There is no water or electricity at the tent sites. This was done mindfully to keep the nature experience in tact. The trails are all well lit by solar lights. We also offer four primitive camping sites around our community fire ring. There is plenty of space for small and large tents and is a perfect set up for group camping with your friends and family. There is a community outhouse like no other outhouse you have seen and a beautiful community outdoor shower with hot water. We have a community fire pit for all to enjoy. If you would like a fire Sunday-Friday, please bring your own wood. If you would like a private gas fire ring provided at your site, it is available for a small fee plus propane. We also offer a kitchen kit that includes a propane stove, accessories, and coffee for an additional cost. Check in time is 3pm or later, Check out time is 12pm Our goal is to provide a perfect balance of peaceful connection with self and nature coupled with a connection to community. Please check our Facebook page to see if we are hosting any events during your stay. We are located in the Horse Capital of the World and also 10 minutes from world-famous Rainbow Springs and KP Hole Park for kayakers and tubers. There is a waiting line in front of the park and at the tubing entrance starts 30 minutes to an hour before the park opens. The park often reaches capacity before the morning is over. It is very convenient to be close to the park to guarantee entry. We are also centrally located and close to several other nature attractions such as: World Equestrian Center: 12 miles/15-20 minutes Silver Springs Park: 22 miles/34 minutes Santos Bike Trail 23 miles/42 min Devil's Den: 26 miles/32 minutes Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens: 26 miles/34 minutes Crystal River/King's Bay Kayak launch to Three Sisters Springs: 26 miles/42 minutes Fort Island Beach in Crystal River: 36 miles/ 52 minutes Gainesville: 42 miles/52 minutes Juniper Springs: 44 miles/1 hour Weeki Wachee Park: 53 miles/1 hour, 13 minutes Cedar Key: 59 miles/ 1 hour Suwannee River: 81 miles/ 1 hour 33 min Daytona Beach: 91 miles/ 1hour 57 min Orlando: 91 miles/1 hour, 30 minutes Tampa: 108 miles/1 hour 50 min We look forward to hosting your stay in the beautiful Ocala/Dunnellon area!
