See you in the Spring 2026. Welcome to our hidden oasis! We're a 2025 Canadian Hipcamp Newcomer Award Winner! Thanks to all our awesome guests! This is quite an honour, only 8 Newcomer Awards were given to the over 500,000 Hipcamp sites. Our 14 acre property is a quiet oasis on several biking trails (G2G, Cottonwood Road, Trans Canada Trail) and a very short drive to famous Elora (7 min) and St. Jacobs (20 min), access to several Grand River launch sites, many nearby hiking trails, and countless Mennonite farmers markets with fresh produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, and preserves. There is really something for everyone around here. We have a beautiful green acreage with a picturesque pond, next to Cox Creek and privacy with open and treed space and the promise of gorgeous sunsets almost every night. We have fire pits, picnic tables, Muskoka chairs and plenty of firewood. There is plenty of space for tents, and/or RVs. Check out the individual listings for more details about each site. We strive to give you a tranquil experience in a beautiful space where you can enjoy relaxing days close to nature, have space to play games, have a paddle around the pond, or seek out the many surrounding activities. A couple notes about the property: You may encounter property owners (that's us!) and our kids enjoying a walk with their friendly dogs unleashed, picking berries, playing a game or doing yard work near your site and around the property. We hope you don't mind. We aim to give you a lot of privacy, so we aren't going to be around all the time, don't worry. But this is a shared space, that we want to enjoy alongside you and we really hope you enjoy it as much as we do! We'll definitely say hi if we see you but we won't overstay our welcome!

Our home is located on the edge of elmira. We live on 14 acres. We built a 1 acre campground on our property which also has a few trails for you to wander. The property is great for walking your dog leash free. Close to amenities and town but also feels secluded. Your campground includes - fire pit - walking trail - large cut grass field - great for dogs and walking dogs - abuts farm land with lots of privacy - no hydro available at main campground but for an extra charge I can provide a generator - porta potty on site which is very clean. - ability to park on grass or gravel - depending on time of year pond, it does dry up but dogs love swimming in it. - great sunrises and sunsets - 2 minutes to groceries and liquor stores, restaurants, Tim Hortons, Dog Park etc. - Lots of wood supply for fires (Extra Charge) The property can accommodate multiple camping reservations but for now we are only accepting 1 at a time on a a 5 acre portion of our 14 acres. The pond does dry up as the summer goes on as of right now until we renovate it, And we do not allow swimming in it (Animals are ok).

2 nights at Hidden Oasis Near Elora

It truly is a " Hidden Oasis " . I really appreciated the quick response back from Laura to my inquiries and too the suggestions she gave for things we could do in the area during our stay. The setting could not have been nicer with large mature trees, a pond you could walk around and large clearing to gaze the stars at night fall. Comments already made about the large fire pit & welcoming large compositing outhouse and paddle boat (s) by the pond edge. Our boating Cat was absolutely fascinated with the pond and racing around the large cedars. Lots of reviews nothing not one negative thing could be said!! Looking forward to booking time at Hidden Oasis. Thank you, Jeannette H

Perfect spot! Pretty secluded from other campers and makes you feel like you found a personal secret pond to have a fire next to. We stayed at #2 and loved the smell of thyme that was growing naturally!

This was a great location, really beautiful spot. It's secluded and quiet and they included some firewood to start which was really nice. The pond was smaller than expected, and we were hoping it had some fish but I think there was only 1 or two smaller fish in there. They have a paddleboat there which was nice and a small floating dock. Grass was cut very well and property maintained well, the drive in was pleasant. Instructions were sent clearly. Bathroom was clean and it was nice that they were selling firewood for a really affordable price.

It's a nice and scereen spot with lots of space. I wish I could have stayed a few days longer to just sit by the pond and play with fire lol. The host was really nice! He checked in on us all and was very accommodating. The bridge being out dosent show up on Google maps so pay close attention to the instructions to get there quicker. Had a great time! Would go again!😀

Lovely private spot for camping! The hosts were nice and quick to respond to messages. The property was well kept and clean, including the outhouse. The other two sites were occupied on our first night but they were a decent distance away so it still felt fairly private. Would definitely recommend!

Campsite was huge, so many places to walk to and explore. The hill on the opposite side of the field is a perfect place to watch the sunrise. It’s about a 15 minute walk/2 minute drive to Tim hortons, a&w, McDonald’s, gas station and what not. Very much enjoyed my stay and will be coming back again if possible
