We are a 100 acre free range beef, pig and rabbit farm, and horse boarding facility on a corner bordering on 2 rivers, a running brook and a sitting on a huge pile of sand. We encourage our campers to also be free range and choose any nice quiet spot they find, a wide open sand lot, along the river, or deep in the woods. Campers are free to set up tents and sites on either side of the pasture, I don't allow trailer campers in the pastures as the cows tend to like to use them as scratching posts and can damage units. You never know when a litter of piglets is going to be born, a new calf arrives, or when the cows will skip the fence and we call on ya for a cattle drive, but always guaranteed something interesting is going to happen on the farm. We welcome campers to bring their pets responsibly, please be aware it is a livestock farm. For people vacationing or travelling with horses, we have stalls and paddocks available and plenty of sand arenas and trails to ride in. We would have preferred a spot that was easier to maneuver BUT it was exactly as the pictures showed. We have 2 beagles and we worried that other campers might not be as fond of their songs as we are. But by quiet time (11pm) they were settled in. The ONLY unfortunate part of our stay was the large group of young people who didn't start drinking until after 11. At 230, my wife screamed, "Go to bed!" One of them yelled, "Sorry." But it still went on until after 3. They got our dogs and at least one other barking. Except for that one group, the campground was quiet after 11, and earlier, i dont think we hear a single loud voice. If there were dogs besides ours and the one we were travelling with, we never heard them. Better control of the 11pm quiet time is the only suggestion I have. Paula was a wonderful host and the campground is beautiful. Coyotes were in full song just as we were going to bed. The bathroom facilities were probably the nicest and cleanest that we've ever seen at a campground.

The bathrooms were great and very close to the sites. The area was quiet and the staff helpful. I plan to return next year for Cavendish Beach Music Festival. Only thing I suggest is to the people coming in if you are tenting in the trees bring extra blankets cause even though it’s summer you’re gonna need em.

Uppon arrival, Matthew and Francine have welcomed us with warmth and respect. They offered us to choose from the avalaible sites to set our camp. ⛺️ We had a majestic view and lots of space to move and play with the dog. We went paddling from the shores downhill of the site. The water was surprisingly warm ! We had access to hot water for showers, potable water, electricity, firewood+firepits and toilets. We had a lot of privacy on both nights we spent there and would recommand to anybody who wants to enjoy a nice view while camping.

Oaks Park is a beautiful, well-maintained, and wildly romantic overnight spot surrounded by nature. The host, Alan, is extremely friendly and helpful. A sea eagle has its nest nearby. It was raining heavily when we arrived. However, the site is easily accessible, even with two-wheel drive.

We stayed easter weekend with two tents and a camper van. Amazing ocean view, nice fire put. Picnic table in great condition. We really enjoyed our stay. We could explore the shoreline for hours and it was easy to set up camp. I would definitely recommend stopping by if traveling through the area
