Suzanne is an amazing host. So accomodating and really wanted to make sure I had a great experience. PLUS the spot by the river is gorgeous! You can hear a little traffic from the road but it was faint and silent at night. Generally so peaceful and the reflection of the red barn across the river looked like a painting. It is a picturesque spot.

We were honored to be Kathleen's first official guests! This is an amazing location, basically right in Lunenburg, which meant we could stay out late and hit the town early. It was quiet, and we loved seeing the chickens roaming around and the birds in the pond in the morning. Kathleen was able to provide some great local recommendations.

Kevin was very nice and welcoming! I took the spot a short drive back on the property next to a little pond with artesian well water. The site was packed gravel and level- good for sleeping in my van. The best part was the bathrooms in the nearby barn with showers!

We have a half acre lake front lot with privacy. We have access directly to the lake from the lot and a laneway for a small boat as well. There is fishing, paddle boarding, boating, hiking and walking on these quiet roads in the wilderness. The Bay of Fundy is down the road maybe 2-5 min. If you want peace and quiet then here it is, a nice fresh lot on a lake out in the middle of no where. We DO NOT have any any of the equipment (kayaks, paddle boards and fishing equip) there you must bring your own. There is no washroom or electricity yet, so please be aware of this.

Guests can test their scouting skills while trying to identify as many native species as they can while on site using Merlin or I-naturalist citizen science apps or engage in conversation with their hosts Kevin, Tawny or Caden. BEAR BLISS MEANS AWARENESS All guests must be aware we are in Bear country. This was one of the original homesteads in the Margarees. There was an old sawmill on site which was used to build the house and barn. It was sold to a man who started renovations for a summer house but ended up listing it for sale. I purchased it and completely renovated the 100-year-old house. Shortly after, my brother and I started an outfitting company with no plan of building a campground, but in 2017 we saw a great opportunity for building something unique.
