Well drained site in the woods, I came with a 17 foot RV and had no issues. Little sand area on the water gets some good sunshine. Private spot…your dry camping… Host is excellent, helpful and a very nice human… Nice area here, bridgewater is great for supplies, beaches everywhere, very clean environment Close enough (25m) to crescent beach for kitesurfing…pray for wind I’ll be back…🏄‍♂️

Weekend Trip to Our Happy Place Campground & Cabins

This camp ground was so cute and just what we needed! It had beautiful, spacious views and the host were absolutely awesome! The sites were close to the ferry to go across to PEI and downtown Pictou but still managed to feel like we were secluded for peace and quite! We were able to go on day adventures and come back to relax at our site to unwind and relax. Will definitely be coming back again!

Tent/Camper Camping by the Ocean!

**the road to my property is open, google is wrong** Nestled in a quaint old Fishing Town is a 4-Acre Forest property, that hadn’t been touched since 1885! This land overlooks the North Atlantic Ocean, with a 25ft bank at the edge of the property, and almost 200ft of stone beach! No potable water on this property (well water is available by hose for cooking/cleaning/showering), but 10 minutes by car you’ll find a Sobeys, a liquor store, a laundromat/cafe, a pub, a Home Hardware, and small local shops that carry camping supplies and so much more! There should be a grey plastic rounded table available (just pop in the 4 peg legs), and 2 matching grey small coffee side tables you can use positioned under the Tiny Home. Please return them somewhere underneath the Tiny Home when you are done using them so that other campers may use them :) 30 min drive away is the infamous Martinique Beach, a very popular surfing spot! Lots of hiking and site seeing available nearby as well. A long drive way is the entry point to the camping site. All I ask is that each camper leaves the property better than you found it. As you depart, another camper is most likely arriving so please keep that in mind. Enjoy the peace and quiet under the stars, and fall asleep to the sounds of the waves breaking against the shore, and the leaves rustling in the breeze! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There is currently a Tiny Home on the property being built, and it is currently occupied by the property owner full-time. Garbage pick-up in this area only allows one black plastic bag to be removed every 2 weeks. If your garbage is in a clear bag the city will take it and you can put your sealed garbage in a clear bag in the wood box at the end of the driveway. The city ONLY takes clear bags. Recycling is allowed in blue bags. Due to this restriction, I am not able to handle all the campers garbage -- please take any that you create with you if you do not have clear bags. If any camper is found to have stayed past the check out time, they will be charged for another nights stay. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you and I hope you enjoy your stay!

It was sold to a man who started renovations for a summer house but ended up listing it for sale. I purchased it and completely renovated the 100-year-old house. Shortly after, my brother and I started an outfitting company with no plan of building a campground, but in 2017 we saw a great opportunity for building something unique. We wanted to keep a backwoods camping feel, but yet create it around a hostel-inspired environment. We launched June 1, 2018 and are in full swing now. There is fishing, paddle boarding, boating, hiking and walking on these quiet roads in the wilderness. The Bay of Fundy is down the road maybe 2-5 min. If you want peace and quiet then here it is, a nice fresh lot on a lake out in the middle of no where. Murphy’s Camping on the Ocean has been operating on Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore for over 60 years! This makes Murphy’s Camping one of the longest-running tourism operations in Nova Scotia. Our campground lands began as a coastal fishing settlement where you’ll still find a fisherman’s wharf and the old salt fish tanks from years past when schooners would load this cargo bound for the New England market. Over the years the Murphys have provided services such as schooner supply runs, rum running, moon shining, boat building, blacksmith services, farm produce, and sport fishing. With the introduction of our brand new geo-domes and cottage, our establishment now offers 10 months of Wild Islands fun! A 1.5 km hiking trail is planned for September 2025, which will make it even easier to enjoy the Wild Islands Coast.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature on our riverside property, where we host Unserviced Tent Sites, Serviced Campsites for tents and trailers, Tiny Cabins, and Rental Trailers - we offer something for every style of camper! The whole family is sure to have fun at LaHave! Our 15 acre grounds host a general store with sweet treats, a community building with communal firepit, swimming holes and a dock, a playground, off-leash dog run, basketball nets, darts, horseshoe pits, washer toss, and so much more! Jamie Lee, Kalen and Tundra Campground Rules & Regulations ● Campsites are modest, intended for 1 RV, trailer or tent, and 1 vehicle. ● Rates are for up to 4 individuals, with a $5 surcharge for additional guests per night. ● Visitors are to check in at the office, arriving before 9pm, exiting by 11pm. ● Speed limit is 10 km/hr. ● Children are not to be unsupervised in the park and on a site by 11pm. Children on bikes require helmets, and no bikes or playground after dark. ● Midnight is quiet time, and no excessive noise ever please. ● Dogs are to be in your control, leashed and picked up after, with no excessive barking. ● Campfires are subject to Nova Scotia burn ban restrictions – no burning 8am-2pm ever. Check Burn Safe website at 2pm daily to see if 2pm or 7pm fires or permitted, or no fires at all. We sell firewood or you can bring your own. Do not move the firepit, and pits or campsites left littered will be a $10 cleaning fee. ● Recycling is mandatory, with garbage, recycling, cardboard, compost and empties bins on site. ● Campers must adhere to the rules for themselves, their family and visitors. Failure to do so will result in notice to leave. Campers are to pay for any property damage caused. No refunds will be granted, including for early departure. This lot has lake frontage to Kings lake, with a boat launch. A huge lot spread with gravel and trimmed lawn. Solar lights are located around the property for fair visibility at night. You can enjoy the luxury of power hook up, running water, bathroom or septic dumb station. The lot also offers a hammock, new BBQ with propane, picnic table and fishing kayaks with safety equipment. On the farm we have a herd of miniature goats, chickens, Kevin Bacon (pot belly pig) and a horse. Animals can be seen if arranged with host . We are working on nature trails through the natural forest. We encourage you to forage for your own fire wood but it can be purchased when available. We look forward to meeting you.
